[Eli can be seen behind the counter at Vanto's Diner. By the commotion going on in the background it appears to be quite busy since it seems to be the morning rush. Regardless, Eli took the time to make the quick announcements.]

I had two announcements I wanted to share in regards for Vanto's Diner. I'm looking to bring on a few more hands to help with the gathering, cooking, and cleaning. I'm also willing to teach people too if they want to learn to cook. I can repay your hard work with a meal. I'm very thankful with how things have evolved for my small buisness and really appreciate your service! I never imagined it would have gotten this big.

The other announcement is opening up a trading system! How this works is there will be a list of items to trade and what that person is looking for in exchange. If you're able to exchange the items you mark it off. I'll have a log where this will all be stored and you can come here to exchange the items or drop them off. If anyone has a better way to handle this particular system, let me know. I'm always open for ways to improve things.

I can help with cooking and cleaning, at least, though there's a lot I need to learn.

If anyone wants to trade but can't come to your place, I don't mind delivering things either. You already know I'm quick and can carry even heavy things.

You're help is always appreciated, Altair. I can always teach you during the slower times if you wish.

That would be for the best. I wouldn't want to accidentally poison anyone, after all.

I've been learning a lot of new recipes of late as well. We've added more to the Greenhouse too.

Nothing but time to learn here, I suppose. You'll have to teach me the new recipes too.

One of these days I'm going to have to come over so I can keep my promise.

[One of these days.] Probably best if it's one of the days where I have the agricultural data point. I'm switching them out pretty often.

I'll hold you to that promise. Maybe by the time Thrawn returns I can surprise him with some Chiss cuisine.

It'll be as close as we can get, anyway. Ingredients from the Ascendancy being so hard to come by, and all.

[Of course, he's used to working with substitutes too. Not like he's even been to Csilla or Copero in quite some time, after all.] It'll be okay though. I cook here too, after all.

I understand. I managed to make a few home meals as close as possible. I wish we could get a hold of some bantha steak though.

Like that makes it any better. [Pointed look.] Not that any of us are supposed to be here, but when Vector... Went home for a bit... I was worried sick. And angry.

It's good that you're handling it without lashing out, but it's okay to be frustrated.

[If the Agrii kept yanking Vector away from him, he wouldn't handle it half as well.]

If we tried to use the Replicator, do you think we'd get bantha steak or mystery meat?

Yeah. The first time I lost Thrawn and Altair. It was rough. I barely knew anyone and they were the two I knew the best. Now I know more people and that helps. Although....if he returns and disappears again I don't know how well I will take it then. I've been here since this started and never left once.

That's a good question...We could always see if we would actually get the bantha steak.

Then it shouldn't be too difficult. I'm assuming it might be a few adjustments and just learning the food here. If you hadn't picked up a delta point yet, learning the agriculture one will help.

[Eli didn't recognize the voice at all. But it was also sometimes harder to tell who was speaking with out the face.]

I'll pass on the cleaning, I think I've done enough of that for at least one lifetime. Actually! Since it seems you've been in the business a while now, I'm wondering if maybe you can provide me with some tips or somethin'.

Not trying to step on anyone's toes, but I'm in the process of setting up a bar- strictly drinks, maybe some snacks, general hangout.

[Look'it this guy, talking like he already knows you. Well, that Cayde for you. He certainly behaves more organically than one might expect from someone who otherwise looks like a droid.]

I don't see that as stepping on my toes at all. This is a completely different establishment. I believe that many people were hoping to find something like this.

I have a few questions to ask you before I can help provide you tips.

How are you going to regulate who drinks? How many drinks can they have....and how would you pay for the drinks? And the most important question is how are you going to supply it?

So I've gathered from the general consensus. But great! Glad that's cleared up.

I figure me or anyone who might be interested will be minding that as bartender. Pff, you don't go to a bar and expect someone to limit you right off the back. Have you ever been to a bar? As for pay- the only currency I've got is left over from Risa and I doubt that really has any value now. There's, what, five of us here? [He exaggerates] And I'm sure some of us need the break without worrying about expenses.

Look, I get this ain't a one person thing. I don't know crap about the local greenhouse but there are people who do. They fill me in on what I can brew, I provide the drink and the space to do it in. At this point I think a little 'you scratch my back, I scratch yours' is about as reasonable a charge as anything.

I'm just covering my end of things. I'm one of those people who would fill you in. What you end up doing is going to be on you. I also wasn't sure if you wanted to try and get some kind of profit out of this since this is a little more complicated then making a meal.

We have some beer and wine already started from the Greenhouse just to see if we could. It's not extremely creative of fancy, but it does the trick.

I want a bar. The ambiance, a place people can take a break. There doesn't seem much point to profit around here.

I have a still set up and I've been looking into what'd work best so I can get that going while I fix up the place. Beer and wine- awesome.

I talked to Tommy about things- know anything about coffee? I got a...thingy for it but no beans and don't know if there's an Agriian equivalent. Otherwise that's one more for the replicator.

I understand. I wish there was a way we could gain some sort of profit.

I'll let you see what our set up looks like so you can gain an idea or two from it.

As for coffee....I picked up a large amount while at Risa and looked into what we could possible grow here. I refuse to go with out caff again. That had been rough...

I'll supply you some beans for now and we can figure out an exchange later.

Understandable under most circumstances, but at the moment I think we're kinda too small to worry about that and got plenty of other things on our plates to worry about profit. This isn't a sprawling city anymore, we're starting at square one. Trade and barter's probably the best way to go, if not just figure everyone's willing to help out in some form and pull their own weight as they can.

Sounds great. I'll drop by some time and take a gander. There any kind of things to hunt out there? If you need meat for the table, I can see what I can do.

You have some valid points. I'm just grateful that for the most part everyone is willing to do their share and help when they can.

I'll be happy if you can gather some fresh meat. I really don't know what there is that we can hunt. We have fish....but you can only eat so much of that before you get tired of it. I had picked up some meat from Risa, but most of that has been used up.

I'll have a look in the woods. If there's glownies and fish around, there's gotta be something else.

If you can hook a guy up with cups and mugs and furniture, that'd be great. -I mean, I can poke around every building and maybe find some stuff but if you can narrow down where I should look, even that'd help.

Not a problem. There's a place we call space Ikea where we can scavenge around for various goods. I'll see what I can find there.
