Billy sighs and shifts closer to Teddy, not wanting to get up yet, nuzzling against his side and closing his eyes.

"Can we just sleep 'til noon today?" he mumbles with a sleepy smile. He rubs absently at an itch on his neck, trying to hold onto that heavy eyed feeling as long as he can. How he wound up engaged to such an early bird he had no idea. "Come on, you know you want to."

"Teddy- let go-" Billy kicks out his ankle, trying to free it from Teddy's grasp, still trying to stick to defense over offence, but Teddy's obviously got the edge when it comes to physical strength.

He manages to retain his grip and slowly begins to tighten it to the point of discomfort, in order to get a sure enough grip to begin pulling Billy down from the air.

"Nnn-" Wincing, Billy tries to pull against Teddy's grip, but he's steadily pulled down, unwilling to hurt Teddy to make him let go.

"S-stop-"

Once he's sure his grip will hold he pulls even harder, wanting to send Billy crashing back into the ground. His words aren't reaching Teddy. In fact, they seem to only be making him more angry and violent.

He hits the ground with a pained cry, gritting his teeth, and feeling a rush of frustration threatening to overwhelm the fear and confusion, lashing out with a concussive wave of magic. He's not far gone enough yet to be fully lost to the rage though, looking horrified with his reaction.

"Teddy- I'm sorry! I'm sorry- please-"

The magic finds its target and Teddy is shoved back by the blow, a groan forced from his throat, but it's not enough to knock him off his feet. His eyes narrow and his teeth gnash together, releasing a growl.

"Save it! I don't want your pity."

He begins stalking towards Billy once again.

Electricity crackles at Billy's fingertips before he wills it back down, eyes narrowing before he can shake that building anger off again.

"It's not...it's not pity- Teddy- It's love, please- I don't want to hurt you. And I know you don't want to hurt me."

[hulkintraining]

His scowl warps into a sneer as he stops several inches away, seemingly unconcerned by what Billy could do with his magic from this close. He leans in, just slightly.

"How do you know that? I don't seem to have any problem doing it." His hand strikes out suddenly, reaching for Billy's throat.

Billy flinches, but fights to keep still to try and prove his point, pulse rising sharply. Teddy wouldn't...right? Whatever this was, he could fight it.

[hulkintraining]

His hand moves swiftly, fingers curling around Billy's throat, gently at first, and then with more force. But not tight enough to block off his ability to breathe.

"Still think I won't?"

"Aaa- T-teddy-" Electricity flickers at his fingertips again, but he still won't move against him, determinedly shaking his head. "Nn- you won't."

[hulkintraining]

He bares his teeth. "Stop saying that!" Instead of squeezing tighter he uses his hold on Billy to throw him forward.

Billy tumbles back, and despite the bruising pain there's a brief smile on his face, seeing that as some small victory. It's short lived though, blinking away that pressing anger with a confused breath and when his gaze settles on Teddy again his eyes narrow, abruptly throwing a concussive wave of magic at him.

The blast knocks a pained groan out of him as he stumbles back several steps. The magic is enough to hurt but not enough to take him off his feet or slow him down very much.

"You're going to have to try harder then that!" He charges forward.

Watching him charge, Billy holds his ground, teleporting back behind Teddy at the last second and sending another blast after him to try and send him crashing into the wall.

"You really want that?"

[hulkintraining]

He's not expecting that. Before he can stop his forward momentum Billy's blast of magic is careening into his back, shoving him forward into the wall before he can regain his footing. Growling, he shoves away from the wall, twisting around to face him.

"I can take anything you've got."

Billy laughs cruelly.

"Oh, you don't even know the half of what I could do, Teddy~" he warns, hitting him with another blast and shoving him back into the wall.

[hulkintraining]

Teddy slams backwards into the hall with a loud thud. Twisting around he digs his claws into the wall and begins tearing through it, throwing his body against it as it weakens until he finally bursts through to the other side. He won't be so easy to throw around without any walls around.

Outside now, his wings unfold and begin to flap lightly.

"Then show me. I dare you."

That's going to be a pain for future Billy and Teddy to fix. But for now all Billy can feel is frustration that Teddy's out of reach, and he flies after him, fists glowing blue. His mind is too caught up in that building anger to focus on spells, but these emotional wordless bursts of magic work just fine.

He tries to throw an enhanced punch, not Billy's usual fighting style, especially not against a brickhouse like Hulkling.

Teddy is flying just fast enough to keep out of reaching range, but he's not actually trying to get away. He wants Billy to wear himself down casting magic. He keeps an eye over his shoulder, dodging most of the blasts of magic that Billy sends off.

He's not expecting the enhanced punch, or the power behind it. Probably because it's not Billy's usual style. The punch finds its target and crashes right into Teddy's back hard enough to stun him. For a long moment he hovers un-moving and then he begins to drop.

Hand smarting, Billy smirks as Teddy starts to drop, thinking he's won, and he flies down after him, needing to be sure.

[hulkintraining]

Teddy's body drops limply to the ground, his weight creating a sizable crack in the ground underneath him. He groans, his eyes fluttering back, before he slumps completely, not moving.

Well that...was a whole lot easier than Billy was expecting. He lands beside him, rage a little unsure what to do with itself without an obvious outlet, and he gives Teddy's body a nudge with his toe.

[hulkintraining]

Consciousness floods back in quickly, but Teddy remains motionless for a moment, waiting. He can feel a presence standing over him, and then a foot nudging his side. Quickly, his hand raises up, grabbing for Billy's ankle as Teddy's eye snap open and he pushes himself up into a seated position.

Oh...shit. He really should have seen that coming. Of course Teddy wasn't that easy to get rid of.

Hand caught round his ankle, Billy tries to fly free, tugging with all his might against the grip weighing him down.
