[Poe's been working on something, and the weather is finally cooperating well enough that he feels he can show it off. The sun shines down on him, and he grins at the camera from his set up on a small hill in a clearing.]

Anyone want to learn how to fly?

[He turns the view to show off the glider he's built, a mix of scavenged pieces and replicator parts, but it doesn't look half bad.]

Used to do this all the time back home. I know I promised a few of you piloting lessons; this isn't quite the same, but it's a pretty good starting place.

[When Cal arrives Poe's doing his final checks on everything, making sure the rig is secure and cheking on the harnesses. BB-8 rushes to greet them, CC-9 hanging back, and Poe offers a wave.]

Over here.

[Waving, Cal laughs and stoops down to pat BB-8 on the head. He waits until BD-1's clambered down the same arm to hop to join the other droid on the ground before starting over to where the pilot is.]

Hey Poe.

[happybeeps]

[BB-8 trills, circling round BD-1 excitedly, and Poe laughs softly.]

Hey Cal. Hey Bee Dee. [He tosses a harness over to Cal with a smirk.] You excited?

[BD-1 turns about watching BB-8, bouncing happily as he beeps back.

Cal grins at Poe as he catches the harness.]

Sure am! Let's do this.
