[Vector sits at a cafe, a cup of tea before him. He looks no worse for wear. He's just as content as he normally is, the black eyes betraying no emotion.]

We have returned.

[He takes a sip of tea.]

We were recruited by Imperial Intelligence and had the most interesting adventures back in our world. We will miss some of our talks with Dr. Lorkin, but we are glad that we came back to friends we have made here.

Agent, if you are still here, may we talk?

[Vector squeezes Aden's hand again.]

You are quite special to us.

[What.]

[Aden Nahain, very near professional seducer of others, and here he is, turning an impressive shade of purple and not quite believing what he's hearing.]

You know the sort of person I am and you still...?

We would not if we did not see that there is a light within you.

[It's faint, but it became brighter every day that Vector was at Aden's side, through all their hardships and trials.]

[How is he supposed to respond to that, exactly? He doesn't see any light within himself- certainly doesn't see what Vector sees.

Vector is... Kind, and good, and... Well, Aden is very different from him. He's cynical, and stubborn, selfish, and has a tendency to give into his violent instincts a bit too easily- even if he has gotten better at keeping his cool.] You deserve someone better.

[It's said rather bluntly.

Vector means the world to him. More than anyone else.

That's why he can't help but feel that he's making a mistake, reciprocating the feelings Aden has for him. Vector deserves someone who's bright and cheerful and good. He might be on the road to recovery, but he'll always be a cynic.] Well... You already know I'm not an easy person to get along with. You're sure...?

[Despite everything, he can't reject Vector's feelings after all. He doesn't want to ever hurt him.]

Just promise me you'll smack me across the head should I ever seem like I don't treasure you.

[He offers a slight smile.

The truth is that his heart is pounding and there's this feeling that he's 99.9% sure is joy, but he's trying to keep himself under control.]

[Vector takes Aden's hand and gently kisses his knuckles.]

[He might be turning purple, but his expression at least is kept somewhat under control. He wonders where his normal suave attitude has gone, the one he's used to seduce countless men and women, but... He supposes he doesn't need it, with Vector.

He pulls his hand away... Only so he can move to sit beside him rather than across from him, so he can lean against him.

He can definitely get used to this.] You'll just have to put up with this for a bit.

[Vector puts his arm around Aden. Right in time, because their food arrives. The waiter gives them a little smile, but doesn't say anything other than to enjoy their meal.]

Perhaps we may buy you a pair of shorts before we have to leave this planet.

Is this where I get to know what sort of clothes you like seeing me in?

[His tone suggests that he's joking.

But he does consider it vital information.]

We think you look good no matter what you wear.

[Even if Aden does look quite good in a pair of shorts.]

Hm...

[He hums, amused, and a little curious.] So it doesn't make you happy at all then that I've already gotten several pairs of shorts and crop tops?

[Vector smiles at the Chiss.]

We look forward to seeing you wear them.

I'll take that as a yes.

[Because he knows it is one.] Maybe we should go shopping together. You could pick out something you'd like seeing me in?

[Given that Vector already got the outfit that Aden thought would look good on him, and all. It's only fair.]

We would enjoy that.

[He saw a few outfits that would look good on the Agent.]

Already have something in mind, do you?

[That was his guess. Now that Vector was back and remembered him. And now that they were together, a couple...

Well, much like Aden himself had opinions on the type of clothes Vector looked good in, Vector probably had the same about him.]

Indeed we do. We will show you once we are finished here.

[Speaking off, Vector hadn't even touched his meal yet, so focused on his new love. It's just a pasta dish that he thought looked good.]

[Oh right, they had their food put down in front of them some moments ago.

Normally Aden is the type to focus on a meal, and he does eat a lot, but with Vector there with him, them together like this, it had been easy to forget.]

Guess we should eat before our food goes entirely cold.

[Much as he just want to sit there leaned against his beloved.]

Excellent idea.

[Still keeping an arm around Aden, Vector picks up his fork and starts on his meal.]
