Relaxing does not compute
WHO: "Mando", TheChild™, and you!
WHERE: Around Risa
WHAT: Vacation, exploring
WHEN: During the event
WARNINGS: None. Will change as needed
Really, Mando is starting to wonder if this "waking up in strange places" is going to be a thing. It certainly seemed to be with these Agrii. Unlike for a lot of people, waking up in a nice soft bed, was an odd feeling. Specially when you're used to sleeping in the bunk of a space ship. So he didn't linger long in the room(even if the chance to take a nice how shower was welcome. Once outside, it quickly became clear what this place was, and he just shook his head.
Eventually he'll find his way to the marketplace, on the hunt for supplies. But the hunt is faltered by more than a few locals fawning over TheChild. It's like they've never seen a kid before or something. So the child has made out, so far. With a newer, more comfortable carrier that he happily rides in, and a soft blanket tucked around him. The Child at the moment is also occupied with enjoying some sort of sweet treat on a stick, that one of the vendors offered.
Din won't complain about the child's distraction. As it let's him get down to the business of finding them supplies. One of his priorities is to find weapons. As a Mandalorian, being weaponless is like missing a limb. No guns or ammunition to be found, but he does find one vendor selling knives. Not ideal, but he'll take what he can get. A weapon is a weapon after all. He'll be checking out the knives on offer, and buying a few of different sizes. After that, he'll be going through the markets, shopping for other supplies that hey can take back to Agra 10
Mando, for obvious reasons, doesn't partake in any of the nightclubs, restaurants and other things folks are enjoying. But one of the few things he does do is visit the glowing gardens. It was quiet, and nice. He let himself relax a little, as he walked slowly through, glancing around at plants that catch his attention. He's even let the kid stretch his little legs, and letting him follow him as they walk through the gardens. The kid for his part is keeping up the best he can(how he doesn't trip over his over sized robe as he shuffle/waddles along, only the maker knows), while also staring around with wide dark eyes, and little mouth agaped. The typical look of awed child.
Let's just hope there's no frogs in the gardens, or else the child may just wind up with a snack or two.
Given the opportunity to get information, Mando is not going to turn it away. So one of the days he can be found at one of the provided computers. Possibly for hours, as he reads up on what he can.
"Strange." He mutters under his breath, after finding nothing on the Agrii themselves. It's like the species doesn't exist. Or maybe that's not the real name of the species. He wouldn't be surprised. Still he'll take the information that he can get on this...universe that he's stuck in. It might come in handy some day.

Gardens
The padawan had been letting BD-1 do what he does best, scanning and cataloging, something he figures amounts to a droid hobby, when he catches the movement out of the corner of his eye. A glimpse of green, pointed ears and brown robes- perhaps it's the lighting, but...
"...Master Yoda..?"
He starts to walk, his pace quickening just a touch as he makes to catch up.

It must be the lighting. Cause this little green guy is even smaller than Yoda was. It's certainly not very hard to catch up to him, either. Mando stops to look back and make sure the kid's keeping up and not wandered off, or is snacking on something. That's when he notices Cal approaching. He steps closer to the kid, putting a hand out towards Cal.
"Whoa there." He says. The kid looks up at his guardian when a confused sound, not quite noticing the approacher.

"Oh-" the padawan starts, backtracking a couple steps. It doesn't take him long to put it together as he looks between the armored bounty hunter and the little one. What had he said...? "Your foundling?"
Behind him he can hear the familiar skittering of BD-1, the tiny droid coming up behind his foot, peering around at the other two.

It takes Din a minute to recognize the kid before him. "Cal, right?" He says, he's pretty sure that's what he'd said. At the question, he glances down at the green child, then back up to Cal.
"Yes. He's my foundling."
no subject
Cal nods at the Mandalorian. "Yeah, that's me," he says. "Sorry, your little one reminded me of someone I knew." He supposes in hindsight, hurrying after someone's kid would look suspicious. Glancing back down towards the little one, he offers a small wave and a faint smile, hoping to prove he means no harm. Not that the kid had seemed to even notice him until his guardian had stepped in.
"This place is something, huh?" He's back to addressing the man then.
no subject
"It is, it's...wait." Whatever Din was going to say about the place stops short. "He reminded you of someone?" The ideas sparked Din's interest. "You've seen someone like him?"
And as if realizing he's being talked about, the child turns his gaze from BD, just in time to see Cal's wave, and he gives his own little wave back with a cheerful noise.

He hasn't much experience with children, but there's no denying how cute the kid is. Laughing as the little one returns his wave, Cal then nods at the armored father-figure.
"Yeah. A couple, actually. One was one of my teachers, early on." Yoda did like to train the younglings when he could.
Marketplace
But knives are always useful, whether as weapons (he prefers ranged, but beggars can't be choosers) or emergency equipment. When he spots a stall, he beelines for it, noticing the other patron seems to have a... baby? in a carrier, looking pleased and enjoying what he thinks might be a lollipop, or at least what passes for one around here.
It's the first baby he's seen around here, actually, so he offers the other guy a smile and says, "Cute kid." Hopefully he didn't just step in it completely.

Din is inspecting the blade length and design of a nice looking knife, when Bucky approaches. He glances over to the man at his words.
"Thank you." He responds with a nod. It's a lot less awkward then it would've been earlier. He's not used to people fawning over the kid. Said kid is loving that lollipop, or whatever it is. He hasn't gotten sweet treats too often in his young life. The kid is certainly a contrast to the armored man he's with.
"Interested in knives, too?" Because why else would someone beeline over here.

He leans over, examining the options. "I'm more of a ranged weapons guy, myself, but sometimes you've gotta make due. Plus, you can't cut a piece of rope or skin a rabbit with a sniper rifle."
He picks up one of the knives - something that looks similar to an M1, although somehow more minimalist and more elegant at the same time. "You came with us, right?" It's hard to tell sometimes, but he's pretty sure this guy is a temporary transplant from Agra 10.
