Someone... She thinks, eyes closed.

"I may... need to talk to York."

"Do you think he will agree to be the target?" Sephiroth barely knows York.

Does she? Tae sighs, arms crossing over her chest.

"If memory serves, the man who was first attacked is important to him. He might."

[3wingedangel]

Sephiroth nods. "That is a good motivator. We should speak with him as soon as possible."

Yes, they should. Tae sighs and then looks firmly at Sephiroth.

"If we do this, ask him to play bait, he needs protective backup. You can't fail him there. He's not human. I can't fix him if something goes wrong. He is, in his own way, more fragile than the rest of us."

Sephiroth stiffens at this. "I will not fail him," he vows, and prays he can keep that promise. But now he wonders if this is their best choice of action.

"Does he have abilities that will help him as well?"

"York? Not that I know of. But I'm hoping to get you additional help. One of the turtles, and Keith if he's agreeable to the idea."

Multiple angles of defense and strength.

Sephiroth is much more concerned about the plan knowing York doesn't have any abilities of his own. And he's not sure how receptive either Turtle will be to working with him, but hopefully they will be willing under the circumstances.

"Have you asked them yet?"

"You're the first I'm asking. If I can't get their agreement, I want to make sure I have at least one really fast person to handle it."

And he was also the first one to respond, so there's that.

Sephiroth nods. "You definitely have my agreement to help."

Well, that's something. Tae breathes a sigh of relief.

"That's good. We have to find a way to talk quietly. Privately. I think one of the boys has the Communications datapoint."

Which meant they couldn't fully trust the supplies at hand.

"We can continue speaking here. Or we could go to the roof of the hotel, but that may or may not look suspicious if anyone sees."

He's often on the roof, but he doesn't often have company.

Yes, it would be suspicious since Tae was known not to wander much.

"I stay here most commonly. So it works best. I don't think Wesker would let anyone spy on us here either. He's very secretive."

Sephiroth is pretty sure Wesker doesn't like him, but if he likes Tae, hopefully that will work out.

"Very well. Let's continue to plan here. Perhaps try contacting the others again."

Tae nods and smiles.

"I'll set up a room further in the hospital for us to work in. And I'll ask the... dog to let you all through without issue."

The thing was just weird at times. But just protective.

"Good," he nods. He has seen many strange creatures back home, so the animal doesn't disturb him much.

"Do you think Wesker will allow this plan to go through?" he has to ask. "He was very ... insistent before on not going against standard rules of law enforcement."

To say the least. And while Sephiroth is sure he could fight Wesker off, he would rather not have that additional obstacle right now.

"These children have attempted to kill multiple residents here, including in one of the cruelest ways known to man," Tae said, voice firm. "If he has an issue with it, he can come through me."

And she's certain she will stop him with her will alone.

Sephiroth smirks. "Then very well. Let us proceed."

Tae nods and stretches.

"Alright. Here..."

She moves to pull a piece of paper from her pocket and a pen. Soon she's scribbling a small map of the hospital and marking a room.

"I'll set this place up to communicate, either in person or by leaving physical notes. Is that alright?"

Sephiroth nods. "I will come by frequently to check for notes, and perhaps to leave some."

Tae nods and smiles.

"Thank you. For everything you are offering."

"Thank you for taking the initiative to do something to end this," Sephiroth says.

Hardly her initiative.

"Thank the brothers. They are the ones trying. I just came to the metaphorical party late."

And she thinks then of her old guinea pig. He would do this too, wouldn't he? Tae hopes so.

"Heh." A smirk. "Well, regardless, your assistance is appreciated now."

And if that's all she can give them for now, she's going to be satisfied with it.

"It's the best I can do for now," she says with a nod. "Thank you."
