Sephiroth is so tired.

All the commotion during New Tick and the rest of January, and now the debate over what to do next.... He’s voiced his opinions and has been going between his ship (Peanut Party) and Temba. Since some of the He Rows have opted to stay in space, he feels the need to check on them as well as those who have gone down to Temba. Sometimes he also checks on things on the Agrii ship to make sure there aren't more conflicts. That all, of course, makes much more work for him.

He likes to steal naps whenever possible, which doesn't seem to be that often. Sometimes he’s found in his room on the ship. Other times, other places on the ship, usually an out of the way corner. Sometimes his wings are hanging down. Other times, they’re wrapped around him for warmth or just to protect them from being tripped on. Despite being asleep, however, he’s good at snapping awake when approached. Usually. If he’s in a deeper sleep, he may not initially react. Or he may subconsciously fling a wing out to bat someone away if they’re getting too close.

On Temba, he’s often patrolling as he likes to do, studying the information he's trying to gather, or sometimes flying through the air. Flying is freedom to him and it isn’t unusual for a large blue feather to drift to the surface as he goes past. He’s also around to fight off unfriendly fauna coming into the city. And while he can’t be hypnotized by the Capra, he’ll try to help if any unlucky He Rows get into that predicament.

He does what he can to help with rebuilding and anything else that may need his attention. And he’s willing to help if anyone asks him. There's always so much to get done.

"Maybe. You guys should try talking more to them in general. They're a lot easier to understand than the older ones," Donnie suggests.

"I'll keep that in mind," Sephiroth muses. "This might be a good time to chat with them since they're the main ones available right now."

"They'd definitely be the ones to talk to if we want to keep apprised to the Agrii political climate," he nods. "Also, Te Mi's brought up the point that hardly anyone's seemed interested in speaking to them before."

"Really. How strange most of us haven't tried," Sephiroth muses.

[thepurpleone]

Donnie shrugs. "Yeah, the option's like, always been right there but I don't know who all else has cared to use it."

[3wingedangel]

"I will definitely look into it," Sephiroth muses. "What kinds of things have already been asked?" He doesn't want to repeat anything already known.

[thepurpleone]

"I literally just said I don't know who all else has used the thing," the turtle teen notes as he turns a dry look at the man.

"But you have, haven't you?" Sephiroth replies. "Obviously I'm asking what you've asked."

He wonders if anyone other than Donnie even has contacted them.

[thepurpleone]

"Might not matter too much given the ones I talked to might not be available to answer. And I already said that I asked why they didn't just go find another planet to move into."

"True. And yes, I doubt I'd get anywhere asking about the planet myself."

Sephiroth ponders. "Has anyone spoken to the Plantkin about the Agrii coming here?"

[thepurpleone]

Donnie shrugs. "Beats me. I haven't talked to anyone much since we got shooed off the ship, and this is just a milk run for me."

"That's something that really should be done. I'll have to speak with someone in Communications about it," Sephiroth says.

And what would they do if the Plantkin didn't want it happening? Another concerning problem that would have to be addressed.

"Or you could just take the Communications data point," Donnie suggests. But he can hardly blame the guy for not wanting to mess around with brain rewrites. Donnie himself still is unsure about it.

"I've thought of that," Sephiroth says. "I could do it as a last resort, but not before trying other methods."

The turtle shrugs again. That's fair enough. He has no idea who all's opted to stay up in space or come back down, himself, but he can understand if people felt better being back on the ground.

Sephiroth isn't sure either, but he'll look into it.

By now they're approaching the shuttle.

"This was certainly an interesting milk run," he smirks, wondering what Donnie is planning to do with all of this.

[thepurpleone]

"My tech-bō was damaged during the fire incident, and so was my battle shell. I built the latter here with Tony's help, but it's not like we had miltary-grade titanium sitting around to make it so it was heavier than what I was used to. The damage wasn't as bad, I just have to bang out the dents on the shoulder hook."

He figures having extras won't hurt, and while he's not sure he can actually rebuild his tech-bō to the same standards as his original, he can at least make something portable.

Sephiroth nods. "It's good to be prepared. I still plan to hang on to the original sword I found, even though now I have mine.

[thepurpleone]

"Yeah..." Especially with crazy people hanging around.

[3wingedangel]

"I wish you well with your building."

A pause. Then, "How is your brother doing?" He's heard some concerning things but hasn't tried approaching Leo yet, not sure that he would be welcome.

Donnie blinks before he gives a nod. "Oh, uh. Thanks?"

His expression flickers briefly with something almost worried, but he smooths it out as they start moving the cart into the shuttle.

"He's okay. We haven't really had much chance to relax with everything happening."

Sephiroth nods.

He wonders if Donnie isn't aware of how upset Leo apparently is now, going by what Knuckles told him, or if that worried look is because he's not supposed to know. He imagines Leo would try to keep things from Donnie, after the incident with the zombie Turtle.

"Heh. Yes, I doubt anyone has. There's been so much to do, and there still is."

Donnie knows he's part of the problem as to why Leo's been upset and stressed out, but he'd still like to think that his brother's been somewhat better. Donnie just has to make sure he doesn't get hurt again, or stay away too long.

"Yeah. Lots going on. And still more to do."

He nods at the shuttle controls.

"I can handle it from here, you don't have to come all the way back with me."

"Very well," Sephiroth nods. He steps back. "I'll see you later."

Nodding back, Donnie's smile is at least unforced.

"Thanks, Sephiroth."
