[A - Starduck]

[While it's good to be away from the chaos and troubles that came from the storms, it isn't as if Lance is terribly pleased to be stuck on a ship again. Not being able to leave sucks, and not having Keith sucks even more. Still, he's a big boy, so he'll deal with it.

(Doesn't mean he has to be pleased about it.)

Just like last time, he does a lot of pacing the halls to calm his jumpy nerves. Open spaces are used sometimes to work out, though he doesn't have anything to use for target practice. More often than not, though, he's going to just kind of...chill out in the lounge with Oliver. Because otters help.]

[B - Beach]

[Lance had just about cried with relief once they got to their destination and he stepped off the ship to see the kind of place they were on. A relaxation planet with warm weather? Did the Agrii do this as a gift to Lance specifically? Obviously not, but whatever. The beaches, the markets, the clubs, the restaurants... It reminds him so much of Varadero Beach that it hurts. But he sure is going to make the best damn time of this that he can.

His first destination is the beach. After picking up a pair of blue swimming trunks at a shop (a little too short but whatever, he's proud of his legs), he immediately makes his way there, beelining for the ocean. He excitedly swims about for upwards of two hours, only getting out once his skin is far too pruney. Afterwards, he flops down on a towel he'd picked up as well, deciding to relax and enjoy the sun. Tan a little, maybe. He's probably gotten way too pale.

[C - Spa]

[The second stop? There's a spa. There's a spa with steam pools and facials and massages and all the good stuff that comes with it. When was the last time he'd had an actual spa day? Lance can't even remember. But he has a feeling he's going to visit this place pretty often during their time here. (And please, let it be a long time.)

Whether it be lounging by the poolside with a drink in his hand, relaxing in one of the steam pools, or whatever else, Lance has a big smile on his face. He's happy to make conversation with anyone who talks to him. After all, good relaxing times should be shared.]

[D - Markets / Restaurants / Nightclubs]

[While he's here, Lance is going to take advantage of everything this place has to offer. During the day and evening, when he's not at the spa or the beach, he wanders the streets of the city to shop and eat. And at night? Dude. He's never actually been to a proper nightclub before, so of course he's going to check out a different one every other night. Lance loves dancing, so it might be hard to drag him off the floor.

[He was a little banged up from the storm too, though not nearly as much as Keith, because Lance was of course blessed with the most reckless boyfriend in the universe. So there was bit of playing nurse to him, but he was absolutely pleased when the hospital on this new planet got him healed up in a jiffy.

It was a good planet for fun and R&R too, so, perfect. Lance smiles, giving Keith's hand a squeeze as they try to find a nice spot for their beach towel.]

Same. Definitely. Then again, you know I'm all about fun and beaches. Nooooow, let's find us a spot...then I challenge you to a race in the ocean.

[A smirk and a kiss to Keith's cheek, before he finally spots a suitable area for them. Although reluctant to do so, he lets go of Keith's hand, and puts down his big beach bag full o' stuff in order to grab a towel and spread it over the sand.]

[Keith pitched in on setting up their little spot.]

Anything to get a win, huh? [He shook his head a little. Lance had the advantage in water races, especially the ocean. Keith could swim, but he wasn't strong with it, and he had even less experience in the ocean.]

You can't beat me in everything, you know. I've gotta show you some humility sometime.

[He leans in for a quick kiss on the cheek before pulling a bottle out of the beach bag.]

Alrighty, pale boy, I got some sun tan lotion so you don't turn into a lobster.

[Keith chuckled, leaning into that kiss before pulling back again.]

Yeah, whatever... just as long as I don't end up feeling like a puddle of grease. Some of that stuff is gross and just stinks.

[Honestly... Keith was used to sun from growing up in the desert, and never really had to think about sunburns beyond some pink on his face and shoulders as a kid. Maybe it was the Galra thing that made his lighter complexion a bit less prone than most. He had no way of really knowing... He just knew he hated sunscreen.

But he also knew Lance would fight him on this until Kaltenecker came home, so... it was easier to just bite his tongue and suck it up. He was actually capable of that sometimes. That didn't mean he had to pretend to be happy, though. His posture immediately slouched into his more grumpy looking position.]

[Awwww, Keith. By now, Lance knows all his little quirks and giveaways and definitely sees that he's a little grumpy over it. He gives him one more kiss on the cheek before pouring some of the lotion into his hands.]

Don't worry, it's not greasy or anything. I tested it out before I bought it. It's actually really light on the skin. Moisturizes, too.

[And that, of course, is very important to Lance. He hums to himself as he applies it to Keith's back--really, getting to do this is a bonus to it all.]

[Keith made an annoyed sound in the back of his throat.]

Moisturize?

[He didn't have dry skin, Lance. Ugh. He sighed, leaning his elbow on his knee and then resting his chin on his hand as he watched the crowds. It was clearly a popular vacation spot to the people of whatever universe this was. The advanced healing tech was nice, too... they'd fixed him up even faster than the healing pods back home.

Though... he still felt a bit off balance on that leg. The doctor had said that was normal, though, and he'd be fine in a few days, and to just take it easy and let it finish healing. He sighed. He'd been "taking it easy" since the storm.

He closed his eyes, though, as it was kind of hard to resist the sense of relaxation that always settled over him when Lance was rubbing his back. Lotion or not, it still felt nice on his seemingly always tense muscles...]

Everyone needs to moisturize.

[Silly, grumpy boyfriend. The reaction is terribly predictable, and Lance leans in to press a kiss to the back of Keith's neck after nosing his hair aside. He continues to apply the lotion to his back until it honestly turns into more of a massage than anything.]

...

[Keith considered that, opening his eyes just enough to glance at the waves for a moment. He smirked.]

What about mermaids? They live in water.

[Yes... he was going to argue this.]

Even mermaids. They have their own form of it.

[It's said matter of factly and he grabs his arm, rubbing the lotion in there as well.]

[Keith's head almost dropped as Lance playfully yanked his arm free, and he made a face for a second as he tried to come up with something to say back.]

Yeah... they do. It's called, "they live in water and don't need special cream for it."

[He was going to die on this hill, Lance...]

Except they do! Well, some do. Keith, trust me. I have mermaid friends. I think I know better than you when it comes to this.

[Never, Keith. Never.]

[Nope... still trying.]

And how would you even use something like that under water?

[Disallowed.]

Look, it sounds weird, but somehow it works.

[Keith pursed his lips.]

That's not an answer. My point still stands.

[Stubborn.]

It is an answer! It works! They manage it! I've had extensive conversations with them on skincare!

"Extensive"? How often did you chat with them after Pidge found you guys?

[Keith was curious now.]

I mean, not a ton, but I was there for a hot minute. We chatted a lot!

Uh-huh...

[Keith chuckled a little.]

Okay, waterboy.

Waterboy?

[That's a dumb nickname!]

Yeah. So?

[Keith stretched. There was a reason he didn't do nicknames.]

That's the lamest nickname I've ever heard!

[A little frown, and he pokes Keith in the arm. Gently, though.]

[Keith poked back.]

It's not a real nickname.

Well, here's your homework, think up of a good real one.

[Poke poke! He knows when to stop when it's too much, so at the first time of Keith being legit annoyed by that, he'll stop it.]

[Keith pouted.]

Why?

[He swatted at the poking fingers.]

[Pout is so cute... And he's just gonna poke at those swatting hands now playfully.]

'cause!

[A very valid reason, yes.]

[Keith made a little soft growly whine kind of noise and then grabbed both of Lance's hands in his own. He pushed his boyfriend down on the blanket, pinning him in place.]

What if I just like saying your name?

[Oh, hell. That noise? Being pinned down? It's as if Keith is trying to assault all of his weak points.

Which he very well might be.

Cheater.]

I mean... Shut up, you know I can't argue with that.

Because it's a good reason not to come up with a nickname.

[See? Keith logic. It worked.]

You are such a cheater, you know that?

[He huffs, but. Damnit.]

How is that cheating? It's solid logic. [Keith smirked at the huff, and then leaned in to give Lance a quick kiss on the cheek.]

Noooo... That's cheating too.

[Extra huff! Keith really knows how to disable him.]

What is? This? [And another tiny kiss. He knew exactly what he was doing.]

Yes, this! You know I can't fight back against this!

[Wrapped around this guy's pinky, really...]

Can't or don't want to?

[Keith smirked at Lance, snuggling down on the blanket with him in the warm sand and leaning on his chest.]

[Aw... Yep, he's definitely mega comfy now.]

Literally can't. Physically and mentally tied up. Okay, maybe not physically tied up... Not here and now, at least.

But I'm kinda tying you up in a way, aren't I? Or maybe pinned?

[Keith chuckled.]
