Just checking in on the groups out there doing their best and most noble intentioned impressions of small lab animals. Are you surviving? What are you encountering out there? Are you safe?

I know I'm not prone to fussing over everyone. Never been my style. But given how many people I saw getting injured during our recent zombie movie existence, I suppose I'm more worried than normal. Especially when I can't get to any of you to patch you up.

So yes, I suppose I'm asking for you to check in with me directly by an audio message or text when you're safe to do so. And survive. I'm going to be so annoyed if someone brings you back heavily injured. I didn't get to bring the full medical supply cart. And honestly, if any of you die out there, I will figure out if Necromancy is truly possible, learn it, bring you back, and then kill you again myself.

I promise I am stubborn enough to manage it.

Please, just be safe.

Doctors are rarely made of chill. But for me, I find the sternness keeps my community from being foolish with not taking care of themselves in situations where they might get sick.

I was also a researcher before anything else, so it wasn't as important for me.

It's been working well enough since I started my personal practice.
But it also keeps people from shoving me into the sorts of niches they tend to assign to Japanese women.

One can be concerned for yourself but still put yourself in danger for those you love.

In some areas I do know better. But it's not everywhere. Like I couldn't cook a meal to save my life. Or fight for it either.

Everyone has their own values. Society actually works best because we all have different areas we are best in.

I'm certain you'd be able to find something. But if you are not comfortable with that, find extra cloth to put between the area and your shoe to try and help some.

I really do. But it is also true that the American behavior of addressing someone by their first name is considered overly forward where I am from. And your people often find addressing by family name too stiff. Nor would our translation system allow me to use the traditional honorifics effectively.

So my own habits are well suited to this cultural interchange.
