Slide ~ Goo Goo Dolls
WHO: Billy Hargrove, Tommy Shepherd
WHERE: The Beach
WHAT: Celebrating a certain someone’s birthday
WHEN: Evening of Oct. 12th
WARNINGS: Boyfriends
It's taken awhile to get everything set up. The hammock posted up on the beach just out of reach of the high tide; the branches and wood of various thickness tented together at a safe distance from said hammock; a blanket with the edges tucked into the sand with a large tray covered by another cloth held down by rocks; candles he had asked Tommy for a month or so ago to use in the beach house. Billy stands back, observing that everything is in the perfect spot with hands on his hips.
Earlier in the month they had a rough start. A bad day for Tommy with bad words from Hargrove in his anger that was mirroring his boyfriend's. But there was something that stuck out to the blond, something that let him know that what he was doing was right.
'The only one that wanted me. The only one that ever celebrated my birthday!' Billy could do this now, could let his boyfriend feel so damn special on his day. No being overshadowed by accident with Kaplan. No joint birthday. Just Tommy.
And of course he's made sure he's looking good. A fresh shower, a good scrub on his cheeks to bring out the color, and yes, even a spritz of cologne (thank you Munson). He's got on his cleanest jeans and a tank top from his own birthday, but has decided against boots for now. He feels really good about this.
Really good about it. Billy thinks it's really gonna make his boyfriend happy and that just feels the blond with this Good Feeling he can't quite describe yet, even after all these months. He reaches down to check, again, that the little wrapped cloth is still there. It is. It won't go anywhere until he needs it to.
Ruffling his hair as a last distraction, Billy crouches to set a spark to the candle wicks, then moves away to text Tommy.
'Took care of dinner for you tonight. Meet me at the beach. Sunset. No is not an option.'

He leans in, close with eyes dark. "Yeah? I'm starting to think I'm not the only easy one in this bed right now." But then Billy moves his hips out of the way, rolling onto his stomach instead and holding himself up with his elbows on the bed so he can still lean in towards his boyfriend. "I did it because my boyfriend wouldn't stop describing his preference for underwear and letting me imagine him in them. He's a diabolical Jersey Devil, working me up like that."
Then there's a grin, and a lean in to kiss Tommy's nose.

"Dude, I'm so easy I'm practically training wheels," Tommy laughs as his boyfriend readjusts himself. "Like, I cannot judge you, at all. But it's not me that worked you up. It was you."
no subject
"I could get you allll worked up, and then roll over to sleep." Like it wouldn't effect him, too. "Want me to do that?"
no subject
So yeah, he's pretty confident that he's going to get to enjoy whatever Billy did in his own mind later. But working him up now? Not happening.

Pull it between skin and sheets until his boyfriend can feel the full effect the talk of underwear had on him. Billy is definitely still hard, shorts heated from his body temperature.
"Just how strong are you, baby?" he whispers in Tommy's ear.

And then... Oh fuck.
"You damn minx," he hisses out, his voice shaking just a little. "Fucking tease. Menace."
no subject
He laughs again, settling like his face isn't flushed pink with dark eyes. Like he's not effected by making his boyfriend cop a feel. "Anyways, I guess this is the part where I roll over and go to sleep like I said?" Billy is so teasing right now.
no subject
"This isn't even. You did it to yourself, and now you did it to me too," Tommy pouts. "What a fucking tease. One of these days I'm going to take you apart so thoroughly you're going to be left shaking and won't be able to walk for a day."
no subject
"I’m gonna hold you to that. And look forward to it. You gotta take of yourself before we actually cuddle up for sleep?"
no subject
Plus he needs to prove to himself that he can behave. Prove to them both.
no subject
"We’ll get there one day. There’s all sorts of things I can say but it’ll make the situation worse for both of us so… I’ll behave."
The sleeping part sounds like a good idea, even if he’s still stiff down south. "Think if we cuddle our bodies will get the memo it’s time to sleep and not be extra sexy? Because you’re always sexy, just extra when you’re also hard for me."

Billy has, clearly, won.

Billy keyed up enough that it shouldn’t take too long. He hasn’t done much of anything since arriving and healing up in Temba.
Man he loves winning.
