Consider this an official request for individuals to report to the hospital who their preferred contact in case of emergencies is. Those closest to them they wish to have appraised of anything that might befall them. I understand this is a rather mercurial sort of issue to face given the fact that our presence here is sometimes fleeting, but it is a vital step.

[The woman sighs, fingers coming up to tug lightly at her hair.]

Which is, I suppose, my way of announcing we have experienced another attack akin to the one that occurred while I was holed up with Misters Stark and Sims. One Robin Buckley is currently under my care for her injuries, but I expect a full recovery. If you are a friend of hers, I encourage a visit for emotional support.



Additionally, in light of the attack and the young woman's survival but expected slower recovery, I am putting in a request to our general populous. I highly encourage individuals moving about after dark to move in parties of a minimum of three for safety.

Secondly, I would like to encourage those of you experienced with any form of security or combat work consider dedicating some hours at night to hospital security while Miss Buckley is recovering. While most of my companions are more than capable of providing security for the building during the day, they do require sleep. So some additional support in evenings would be appreciated. Preferably in pairs.

Then unfortunately you won't have a visual connection when I say the young men and women of Hawkins apparently faced down very real monsters. Which I suppose isn't relevant.

I can say that Mister Munson has never struck me as someone violent enough to be involved with such an attack. And as I believe he hails from the same town as Miss Buckley and that group of youths seems very tightly bonded, I cannot fathom him being involved in anything resembling this.

Just maybe don't rule either of them out entirely. People do crazy things when they're pissed off and traumatized, especially teenagers.

All I'm asking for anyone to provide is something resembling proof.

I'm not saying accuse them or clap them in irons or whatever. Just don't assume it's impossible.

I'm not saying it is impossible. Just that I cannot believe it. Especially not without better proof than what was put before me.

He also seemed to imply that the accused young man's communication device was potentially stolen.

We need to do something to stop these attacks. I agree with that point. But a potentially stolen device being used to lure someone does not guarantee a young man attacked someone who he is associated with. Much less a year and a half after he first arrived here. And a bit over a year since she did.

All I am saying is that I require more before I would believe blame laid at any feet. And why I suggested people stick to trios when traveling, as you cannot necessarily trust a single individual with your safety.

Okay, seriously, do you know how investigations work? No one's blaming anybody, no one's claiming they can guarantee anything. But to find whoever's doing it, you have to talk about it, not shut people down from sharing intel unless they've magically solved the whole thing on their own. It'd be one thing if people were treating this like a witch hunt, but nobody is.

I am aware enough of how these things work. I am also aware that preemptive blaming in public spheres can lead to ultimately innocent parties being hurt.

Those who would investigate are welcome to do so and I encourage you all to continue work to which those such as myself are not suited. But at the same time no one has even spoken to Miss Buckley, much less confirmed that this truly is the same attacker or that similar tactics were used. So throwing a name out seems reckless.

I understand that English is my second language but the translations here are rather effective. And so I know I am not mistaken in noting Leonardo implicated him. Twice.

I merely am requesting more data before accepting implications. Consider me foolish if you feel it appropriate, but I take a wide viewing of my oaths as a doctor. Harm comes in many forms.

Now, I must go see about having lunch delivered for Miss Buckley. If you or anyone else wishes to question her I ask that it be left until at least after lunch.

Whatever; I'm gonna go talk to people who know that "hey, here's a clue" isn't implicating crap. It's not the translators, it's just you.

'If he didn't just do it himself' is an implication. And responding to my questioning with proof with 'his tablet is the one that called Richie' was defense of the implication by means of attempting to provide evidence for it.

It is not just me. It is his language choice. Perhaps unintended upon his part. But with the situation in play being mindful of one's words is invaluable.
