Hey, um…with everything going on I figured maybe it would be good to talk about things? I’m sure any of us here at the hospital would be happy to lend an ear…

We’re a real small community here, and I know when any one of us is hurt by someone it can spread a lot of distrust. I don’t know who did this, or why, and uh- I know this all probably sounds extra stupid coming from the guy who’s attacked people twice now ‘cause of the rage bugs, and…trapped us all in the other world for a while. I can’t take those things back. But I can help anyone who might be hurting? If you’re scared or mad- whatever you’re feeling, if you wanna talk about it…

It's not good to let those things fester, especially not in this atmosphere.
I really want to believe that no one is too far gone to turn things around, so please, just…reach out.

I think some conversation never hurts in general. It's too easy to keep ourselves secluded around here. I'm not saying I'm not part of that problem either. Just...old habits, you know? But it's good hearing a reminder.

That is a complete normal and valid feeling. And we should probably finally figure out how we're going to handle shit like this as a community.

That's a good point. It's funny, you'd think it would be easier with a smaller community, but it's still really easy to just...keep to yourself. We should all probably work a little on some community bonding. We're all we have.

Can't blame you there. I wonder if we should make a notice about that sort of thing for all the people who haven't been exposed to that particular experience, especially with known potential threats regarding wildlife.

There's not enough time in the multiverse to unpack all my issues, but I like the idea of having spaces for people to be able to talk about things. You're right about us being small, so when things happen it does impact all of us in some way.

I really wish we had someone properly trained for this, but I'm happy to volunteer if you ever wanna talk.

Not really, but my mom's a psychologist so I was raised on a lot it. Not the same as actually knowing what I'm talking about, but I try to help people if I can?

I would but my memory from when I first arrived is kind of hazy here and there. [He chuckles dryly.] It is really disorienting being here for several years and then suddenly being the same age you were when you first got here.

All I need is for people to stop being crazy enough to pull these kinds of stunts. [He breathes a laugh.]
