Sorry, you're stuck with me, bitch

Who: Angel Dust, OTA
What: Arrival/Drinking
Where: Fountain/Deep End
When: Early-Mid Month
Warnings: TBD, Strong Language, Addiction

Arrival
There ain't no way it's possible, but this sure as shit doesn't look like Hell. Angel tries touching that creepy orb thing again, and even tries askin' it questions, but it's a fucking floating ball, he wasn't expecting a whole lot.

So it's down to you- poor fellow netizen of this place- assuming the sight of the furry sinner's approach doesn't scare you away.

"Holy shit," he murmurs, staring at you in disbelief, "Are you ALIVE?" Is this a real living, breathing person and not a soul???

The Deep End
"Oh thank fuck," Angel sighs, dropping onto a stool by the bar, grateful to have found a place to stop that building headache. And whether it's your job or not, hot-stuff, you have just been designated bartender.

"What's the strongest shit you got in this place?" he asks with a flirtatious grin.

Tony was also looking up and around once they were inside, like he wasn't entirely sure what to expect, either. He definitely didn't know how to get any lights on in here, so they were illuminated only by the moon through the glass, and a faint beam provided by the robot, who swivelled around intuitively with Tony's gaze. He barely glanced back at Angel to ask, "Should I be watching my back?," so he was definitely more concerned with figuring out how to navigate the greenhouse. Eventually, he had to continue ahead, checking around corners curiously as he mapped his way through.

When he did actually look Angel's way, Tony maybe regretted not being more cautious in the face of those glowing eyes and sharp teeth, but his hesitation was brief before he was answering, "Listen, this is where most of our food in this place comes from, so..." He thought he was going to make a point about what a disaster it could be if they did find something concerning on their midnight tour, only for his head to tilt and shoulders drop with some resignation. "Yeah, probably. Be careful what you eat." Most of the plants did look annoyingly innocuous, nothing moving in the dark.

"Yes and yes," Tony answered, airy with distraction as he searching stroll through the garden slowed, and he started ducking his head for closer examination around plant beds. It was difficult to tell if something actually looked familiar, or nothing at all did between the dark and the grainy footage that he was trying to compare it to. He still managed to elaborate, "There's basically nobody here. I can almost guarantee you, if you pick a spot to take your pants off, no one else has claimed it, and it's probably a bad storm away from collapsing. If that doesn't sound like a good time to you, then there's a few places that have had some reliable work done, you do have options. Depends on how close you want to be to anybody."

Tony glanced up briefly from his search, again with an inquisitive quirk of his brow that he didn't pursue. Instead, he crouched with a delicate tug at his pantlegs with fingers raised daintily, which didn't quite match the sharp intent he levelled at the flowering bush that he considered. "Not a lot you have to earn around here," he corrected, "except, maybe, trust." After a beat, where he flicked up a leaf with a reluctant and irritated finger, he rerouted, "Or, I guess, you don't want to lose that one. I don't know." With a still watchful stare at the plant, like he expected it to move, he tapped a distinct rhythm against the floor with two of his fingers, and frowned when it just died in the muffled density of the greenery.

Since the only results so far were making him look crazy, Tony stretched back up onto his feet with a sigh of resignation, though he still glanced around at the ground like he might find the next spot to tap on. "Sure, okay," he welcomed, "One time, on a space station through a worm hole, I saw a bad movie about some bushes talking to each other, and it looked a lot like this place." This time, Tony's raised eyebrow was to ask if Angel really wanted to pursue that any further or just leave Tony to his derangement, then he was quickly bowing over again to move aside another heavy leaf. Already, he was moving on, "Have you tried just asking?"

Those were some difficult consequences to argue against, so Tony could only pout with a tilt of his head in acknowledgement that maybe that kind of thing would be discouraging. Still, they had to confront, "What are you asking for?," because that wasn't the typical response to even an outlandish desire. "If we're talking about throwing a tantrum because your latte didn't have enough foam and the tabloids having a field day, I'm sorry to tell you, but you're going to be experiencing a lot of disappointment very immediately. What does that look like to you?" He was pointing under the branches he gingerly moved aside, to the trellis supporting their growth where some clumped residue stuck like sap, and tiny holes were punctured like bite marks.

Tony gave a short, unsatisfied murmur at that answer, and D.A.T.A. focused his light and camera on the area intently to record the bit of goo for posterity and further research. "I am despicably sober," he assured Angel, looking about as impressed with that statement, and waved it away to give Angel a judgmental frown for assuming it was at all clear that his list of priorities after being kidnapped to a new time and planet went first bed, then drugs. Still, he was quick to offer, "You're on another planet, so you're going to have to adjust your expectations, but there are a few ways to synthesize what you might be looking for. If you drop in at the library, there's a chemist there that knows anything worth knowing."

They hadn't really properly redressed that, had they? As much has Tony wanted to fix sharply on the problem he had come out here to solve, he had managed to cause another in the meantime, and now he was giving a guilty click of his tongue with a restless scratch through his hair. "Yeah, let me get you a coffee, or something..." he started, losing confidence in the offer as he swept an assessing glance up Angel's basically alien form. Did whatever he was drink coffee? It was easier to consider how Jon might react to the image, which inspired a breathy laugh at the idea of Jon trying to throw a punch before he was quickly gone so Tony could instruct very seriously, "He'll see you coming, but try not to get on his bad side." Those spidery eyes were definitely going to put him on edge.

That response made whatever performance Angel thought would appeal to Jon very rapidly a must-see, drawing out Tony's wry smile again, his focus sliding away at a private joke. Jon might try that punch yet. "Great, he could use more friends, get him out of the house," Tony encouraged innocently. By then, D.A.T.A. had darkened again, his scanning of the curious scene complete and his processing dedicated to analyzing, so Tony picked him up again as he gave a toss of his head to get out of this place. It was humid, and dark, and there were definitely beetles lurking under most of these leaves, and Tony wouldn't have pointed anyone toward it on a good day. "Let me show you the highlights," he said, mostly meaning the diner where he could trust that Angel could sustain himself.
