[Network/Action]
[Everyone's favorite purple turtle flashes a practiced grin at the screen before he finger-guns at it. He's got to keep himself busy somehow while waiting for results for his weather balloon search!]
Making rounds today. Robin, Max, Lark- give me a head's up if you're busy otherwise I'll find you.
[He'd call out Wesker too but figures the man would prefer his business be on the down-low, so he'll just stop by the hospital office to see if he's there to make that delivery.]
[Maybe it's creepy maybe it's not but when you have access to a certain someone's camera network, it's not too hard to find people when he's looking for them. So Donnie will track down Robin and Max wherever they might be wandering or just wait by the place they've been staying at.
...alternatively he'll just leave them a small package, their name written neatly on it. Inside Robin's will be...well, it's not a walkman, because even if Donnie initially thought to make one, he decided that the cassettes were impractical for holding all the songs he wanted to put on it, and would be difficult to go through. So yes, it's an MP3 player loaded with every 80s song he's ever downloaded, including most if not all of the Eurythmics tracks, especially if they had a beat you could bop to. Yes, it's purple. He may have branded it with an engraved, stylized D. There are headphones and instructions that he's handwritten- the only reason it's not more than five pages long is because his hand's still recovering.
For Max it's that promised handheld gaming console, also purple, also branded- loaded with classics like she's familiar with, just current-dimension variants. It also has a few old-school style RPGs. Likewise it comes with handwritten instructions for general use of the game system.]
Also! This heat is atrocious but nights are slightly (if minimally so at best) more tolerable so I have set up an outdoor movie area by the wall of the empty factory- not the spider-filled one. Do not try to tamper with my projector or there will be consequences. First showing tonight will be a double-feature of Lou Jitsu and Jupiter Jim. Leon, if you would be so kind as to choose our viewing selections, I'll get them loaded up when I can.
Donnie, out!

Donnie, out!

no subject
He looks over at Wesker when the man speaks up, then at Themis again to see how she responds.]
Okay, good. Now just...stay...
[He holds his free hand out as he takes a step closer, the other one with the collar still up so it doesn't seem like he's trying to sneak anything.]
no subject
As Donnie's hand moves closer, her maw moves forward, curiously tasting the approaching scents while emitting a drawn, high-pitched whine from the very back of her throat. ]
Don't hesitate.
[ Wesker cuts in, his words this time directed at Donnie. ]
no subject
Donnie doesn't do too great a job at showing how unsettling it is being so close to that mouth but to his credit he doesn't pull back.]
Easy there...
[With Wesker's prompt he goes through with the motion, trying to keep his hands steady as he brings the strap of the collar around Themis's neck and fastens it.]
no subject
Themis' reaction is a much more obvious one. The moment Donnie's hands begin to withdraw, her entire face blooms open with a gleeful screech, revealing the rows and rows of small sharp teeth surrounding her throat and happy tongue in the center. ]
no subject
Wow, that is both cute and kind of terrifying. Um. Good girl, Themis.
[He glances back at Wesker then.]
no subject
[ It's neither a comment of approval or disapproval even though in Wesker's opinion his creation isn't meant to be cute. Friendly, yes. But not cute. Though whether or not that trait turns out to be a design flaw yet remains to be seen. ]
Themis.
[ Wesker states the name as sharply as the following snap of his finger, instantly making Themis sit at attention and await further instructions. ]
You did well. Now leave.
[ Themis relaxes again, smacks her lips with a short, low purr and turns around to almost casually trot out of the room. Wesker watches her leave before turning his next words towards Donnie again. ]
You also did well. She hasn't met many people yet.
[ Which is partially to blame on the fact that Wesker isn't too keen to socialize with the local population anymore. Too many of them have proven to be imbeciles. And his usual approach to cealing with such people isn't appliable here. ]
no subject
He watches as Themis instantly settles into obedience at Wesker's command before leaving at his dismissal. Finding himself given attention, he straightens with the flicker of a smile.]
Well hopefully she won't have any problems with others, although I think you'd be better off warning people that she even exists before someone freaks out if they accidentally come across her first. People always kind of jump to conclusions when they come across something different, and then the next thing you know there's mad mobs with pitchforks.
[Speaking from experience? Naaah.]
no subject
I can handle a few pitchforks.
[ Also speaking of experience. ]
However. I am planning to properly introduce her once her manners are- Better.
no subject
But okay, cool. Let me know if you need anyone to vouch for her. Believe it or not, you are kind of intimidating.
no subject
[ What exactly he is referring to is not something Wesker feels like specifying. ]
You may leave now. Your work here is finished for the time being.
no subject
But Donnie knows better than to try the man's patience, and would rather stay on his good side. At the dismissal he nods, turning with a wave of his hand.]
All right. If there's anything else you need...
[He leaves it at that, showing himself out. Not that he doesn't already have things to keep him busy, but he thrives on being useful.]
