[Everyone's favorite purple turtle flashes a practiced grin at the screen before he finger-guns at it. He's got to keep himself busy somehow while waiting for results for his weather balloon search!]

Making rounds today. Robin, Max, Lark- give me a head's up if you're busy otherwise I'll find you.

[He'd call out Wesker too but figures the man would prefer his business be on the down-low, so he'll just stop by the hospital office to see if he's there to make that delivery.]



[Maybe it's creepy maybe it's not but when you have access to a certain someone's camera network, it's not too hard to find people when he's looking for them. So Donnie will track down Robin and Max wherever they might be wandering or just wait by the place they've been staying at.

...alternatively he'll just leave them a small package, their name written neatly on it. Inside Robin's will be...well, it's not a walkman, because even if Donnie initially thought to make one, he decided that the cassettes were impractical for holding all the songs he wanted to put on it, and would be difficult to go through. So yes, it's an MP3 player loaded with every 80s song he's ever downloaded, including most if not all of the Eurythmics tracks, especially if they had a beat you could bop to. Yes, it's purple. He may have branded it with an engraved, stylized D. There are headphones and instructions that he's handwritten- the only reason it's not more than five pages long is because his hand's still recovering.

For Max it's that promised handheld gaming console, also purple, also branded- loaded with classics like she's familiar with, just current-dimension variants. It also has a few old-school style RPGs. Likewise it comes with handwritten instructions for general use of the game system.]


Also! This heat is atrocious but nights are slightly (if minimally so at best) more tolerable so I have set up an outdoor movie area by the wall of the empty factory- not the spider-filled one. Do not try to tamper with my projector or there will be consequences. First showing tonight will be a double-feature of Lou Jitsu and Jupiter Jim. Leon, if you would be so kind as to choose our viewing selections, I'll get them loaded up when I can.

[She sputters in shock and then sits up. That's a lot to hear.]

[Donnie leans back as she sits up, brow arching.]

What, that's seriously news to you? I'm surprised you haven't already accidentally inhaled water by now.

Seriously? The esophagus is strong. And I'm at a slight angle.

[So surely that's enough.]

The water's still got to get to the right pipe, and the trachea's like, right there. Lying down isn't a normal position to sustenance in general, but I'm not here to conduct a physiology lesson.

I passed anatomy thank you very much.

[But she's sitting up now.]

You wanted to see the obstacle course. It's over there.

[He grins, giving a shrug before turning to have a look at said obstacle course.]

Oh, that looks like it could be fun. Although not very intuitive unless I guess you can freestyle?

I figure whoever cared about it put together something that made sense to them.

I guess that makes sense.

[He rubs his hands together.]

I'm going to have a go!

[She laughs and sits up.]

Go for it. I'd like to see you do it.

[At least it isn't sports involving a ball. Donnie can handle an obstacle course! Grinning, he jogs over to the starting point and begins his runthrough.

It's clear enough that climbing and jumping isn't a problem for this turtle. Neither is balance, as in the cases of the repeating poles laid out where he just figures to hop between each one rather than stop and clamber over them. ]

Okay, you're literally defying gravity. So not fair.

[Donnie is...not that great at ball-sports. See: Basketball.]

It's not defying gravity because I assure you, it will eagerly assert its dominance at a moment's notice if I let my concentration slip. Command over one's balance however, completely fair.

[And now he's going to flip off of the last one because he's a show-off.]

[Robin would rather see less basketball in her life, thanks.]

[He may not excel at sports, but he still loves to try playing them.]

I know.

[The turtle jogs happily over to the next obstacle. Sports he may be terrible at, but he's still athletically built and has done plenty of wall climbing and building leaping and such that it doesn't really take him much effort to get through the thing. He's at the end rope in no time, not even bothering to climb all the way down once he gets up there to tap it, but dropping down into a neat three-point landing.

When he gets up he takes a bow.]

Aaand applause, and applause, and waiting for your applause.

That landing has to be bad on your knees.

[Sorry, no apologies. She's feeling inferior, so teasing is what is going to happen.]

[He rolls out his shoulders as he meanders back towards Robin.]

That was fun at least. Not quite like jumping across the rooftops in Manhattan of course.

[But she does tkae a moment to applaud to him.]

Manhattan? Really? Aren't he buildings a bit far from each other?

[At least she's humoring him. He thrives on approval.]

Eh, it depends where you are. There's more than enough rows of buildings right beside each other. There are a lot of buildings crammed into spaces.

...oh! I almost forgot why I even came here.

[He wanders back over towards her, pulling out a small package to hold out.]

So people packed in like sardines, like television says.

[She's never been there and her chances at it are a ways off.]

Oh. Right.

[He approaches and she takes the package.]

Am I allowed to open it? It's not my birthday or christmas. Wait, do you have Christmas?

It can be.

[He laughs.]

I'm from Earth and New York so yes, Christmas is definitely a thing. But this is repayment.

Repayment?

[Turtles celebrate Christmas. Weird. But she starts to open it up. And is left staring at a device she doesn't entirely know.]

Is this, like, a type of walkman?

An MP3 player. Which basically is a music player except that it stores tracks as digital files, therefore allowing for more song capacity depending on the amount of memory it has.

I was going to fix up a classic walkman but there was no way I was going to be able to put all the songs I had available on it, so...I figured you wouldn't be adverse to an upgrade.

[More song capacity? She's staring in shock. He's really serious about this.]

You're kidding? How much music does this hold?

This one can only hold about two hundred songs worth. If we end up at a space-shopping depot again I can probably triple that.

[For a young woman from the time of cassette tapes that is a lot. Her eyes go huge. And he could triple it?]

This would be, like, alien level tech when I am from!
