Fang and the Storm

WHO: Fang and everyone
WHERE: Temba
WHAT: Storm
WHEN: During the Storm
WARNINGS: Mild Superstars spoilers?

So, one of these Storm things Fang has heard about. He’s been on guard for them all this time, and yet somehow it manages to surprise him. This ... memory-thing is something he wasn’t told about. But judging from how everybody seems surprised, maybe this is new.

He’s leery of what it will show about him, but does he need to be? He doesn’t want to relive it, but if these people see his past, will that really be so bad? It doesn’t matter if they turn against him ... probably.... But he’s stuck here with them, so it probably wouldn’t be the best thing for it to happen either. Not that he has much choice. What will come, will come.

Memory #1

Oh yeah, he remembers this. Chasing after Fleet-Feet (Sonic) all over that Northstar Island place, sending all of his weaponry and advanced tech after him as they soar over the greenery and up and down hills. Is he really trying to hurt or kill Sonic, or just slow him down? It’s not like he doesn’t already know Sonic can outrun anything that’s lobbed at him. But it no doubt won’t make a pretty picture for anyone happening to watch, especially if they were friendly with the Sonic who was here.

Memory #2

Trip ... of course it’d be Trip. He’s screaming at her, frustrated she wasn’t around when he needed her and messing up whenever she is around. And finally she snaps, activates the Chaos Emeralds and turns into the very golden dragon he and Eggman were looking for, and beats him down.

He turns away from the memory, gripping his arms as he stares at the ground. Being a jerk backfired on him, and later on, even worse than this when they fought once more on Eggman’s space station.

He hadn’t used to be quite like that. In the past, he’d even been clumsy too. Not quite as bad as Trip, but still. And he’d been nicer ... more amiable. He’d even helped fight against Eggman at least once.

So ... why had he changed? How had he got that greedy? And can he ever be different?

Does he want to be?

He doesn’t like what he became back there. He’s still a greedy mercenary, but he didn’t used to be so bad.
