Idle Hands Something Something
WHO: Donnie, Leo, and circumstantially open
WHERE: Agrii Ship - That Room
WHAT: Being delinquents
WHEN: During the end of Phase III
WARNINGS: Injury?
They probably shouldn't be in here.
But then the thing about places that were locked up is that it just screams that something's been hidden there, something people aren't supposed to be meant to find. And naturally that just begs questions of what.
Handling repairs and skirting Agrii politics gets tedious, so it's inevitable that Donnie opts to go investigating new secret tech. He'd had a brief look at the place before, back when the shield had yet been in place, but now that it's open, there's nothing keeping him from poking around.
"Creepy, right?" He'd dragged Leo along, or at most gave the suggestion because he has no other brother to be a willing accomplice. The space is huge, lined with rows of some sort of beds as far as the eye can see, hundreds upon hundreds of them.
"Why the heck would this be in a sealed off area of a spaceship?"

So they just needed the medical data point to use these! …Wait.
“You’re a doctor and you didn’t have the medical expertise already?” Leo shakes his head, holding his hands out. “No, never mind, I don’t care, just… how hurt is “badly hurt” here? Is waking him up safe?”
The not so sneaky €dit
Tony's injuries were minor at best anyway. Though he will feel better after his short stay in the pod regardless. Not that it matters. The man will remain a nuisance. And yet Wesker still enters the command to have him released from the pod as well before returning his attention to the turtle about to be freed. In which case freed doesn't automatically mean awake and well however. There is additional work to be done. Medical work.

They were still there. It had been closer to seconds than it had been minutes since Wesker had roofied him, and in that time they had just opened the bed that Donnie had been trapped in. That was what Tony had thought, anyway, that he was trapped, but now he was glancing between Wesker and Leonardo, mouth open, then clicking shut. That explained why they were so angry with him. Were they, what, just seeing what he would do? This was some kind of test? Unable to look at either of them now, but straining up to try to see Donnie, he tried cautiously, "Did I hurt him?" If it was a test, Tony had not only failed; he was painfully, tight in his chest aware that he hadn't learned anything, either. He didn't understand why his opening the bed wouldn't have worked, and he was the only one in the room that stupid.

Which he is, but he's hurt. Leo has no idea what damage the shock might have done, he just knows Donnie needs a doctor to actually look at him and not choke people and cause chaos. Even now, Leo's heart is pounding as he wonders what happens next, and if there will be any help at all. He's not sure he's ever been this scared in his life - maybe once, but that time, he didn't feel so utterly alone like he does now.
Tony waking up doesn't really do anything to assuage Leo's panic. At his question, Leo looks first at him, then at Wesker, then back at Donnie. He doesn't know how to answer that.
None of the letters in TMNT stand for "doctor".So Wesker will have to answer that. And Leo will prepare for if the answer is yes.no subject
With his hands bare Wesker takes the hand Leonardo has placed on his brother's shoulder by the wrist as if to check his pulse. His other hand does the same with Donatello's wrist. This is followed by him placing the backs of his hands to both turtle's foreheads to make a mental note of the difference in temperature. This would be a lot easier if he had any medical records to go by. But when Wesker asked for people to come in for blood tests and a basic examination, he was met with little more than a very strong resistance. And yet situations like this oe is exactly why he had made that request. Now he has to use Donatello's brother as live reference for turtle vitals. At least between him and Tae he is still the one with actual experience if it comes to dealing with mutants. Which in turn means that he unfortunately can't simply push this patient on to her.
"I want him in medical." Wesker finally announces. "Stark, you will find something to transport him safely."

And then Tony is moving again, picking Donnie up to carry him out. Leo has no idea if this counts as “transporting him safely,” but it’s probably what he would have done too.
Regardless, he’s not letting Donnie out of his sight, so he jogs to catch up.
Sorry, Bear. ILU but that’s not a move Wesker will let slide.
“No.” Is the only thing he says. A single word stated firmly and with finality.

“Then how are we going to get him to Medical if we aren’t going to carry him?”
Is there some kind of fancy sci-fi backboard around? They’re down in the bowels of the ship, so Leo doesn’t think they could maneuver a wheelchair or a stretcher out of here.
And he’d really appreciate if the two adults in the room could get it together.

But Leonardo's question is a valid one. One that Wesker has to ponder while letting go of Tony's wrist. He doesn't want to risk any further injuries by handling the unconscious body incorrectly. He doesn't know nearly enough about Donnie's body. But he knows that the medical area of this ship is well equipped to deliver a full diagnosis and he can easily work from those results.
They may have to improvise. Unless-
"You teleported us before." Wesker says after a few moments, shifting his attention over to Leo. "Can you do that precisely enough?"

“It’s… hard to aim when I don’t know where I’m going, but… I think I know the area around Medical enough to try.”
If it will help Donnie, he’ll do whatever he has to.

The word try is what he finds concerning.
"Teleport me first. Then I send you instructions for what adjustments need to be made. You send Stark next to test the adjusted location before you follow with your brother." If possible he wants to lessen the chance of Donatello being dropped into a room from mid-air.

He looks back at Wesker and shakes his head.
“No, we don’t have to do all that. I can make my own adjustments.”
So saying, he unsheathes his sword, then envisions where he wants to go. His markings are still glowing, and while he doesn’t need them to be able to use his power, it does make his aim steadier.
He focuses on the area outside Medical first, because he’s never been inside. Then with a quick slice, he opens the portal - parallel to the ground, this time.
Then he sticks just his head and upper body through, the rest of his body staying behind in the pod room.
After a moment to orient himself, he finds he’s close enough to open the door to the medical ward. He does and takes a good look. Then he pulls back, letting the portal fall closed once he’s clear of it.
“About ten feet forward and a little to the right,” he says to himself, and then he opens portal again, and sticks his head through.
And then comes back. “Okay. You can go through.”
no subject
The placing of the portal takes hardly any time at all. A useful skill to keep in mind for sure. And unlike Tony, Wesker has no trepidation about making use of the presented path once Leonardo tells him it's good to go. He can trust the turtle to ensure his brother makes it over safely at least.
And so Wesker is the first to make it over to the medical wing to wait for the rest of their small group.

As Wesker did disappear, Tony only raised a demure hand, close to his hip to wave his farewell to the turtles, he tipped to try to catch another glimpse of Donnie and some sense that he was going to be okay. He would still follow, after a beat, taking the less magical route through the ship to linger in the hall a few feet from the door to the medical bay, waiting for Tae or Billy to appear to find out more.
no subject
Leo is a little worried about trying to pick Donnie up himself, given the fuss Wesker just made about it. He can carry his weight fine, sure, but he’s not sure he’s going to be able to stabilize him correctly. But it’s just a few feet, right? And the only adult left in the room is leaving it to him.
So Leo very gingerly slides his arms under Donnie’s shoulders and legs, then just as gingerly lifts him. He takes a deep breath once he has him up, making sure that Donnie doesn’t seem worse after that, or in any new pain.
Then he steps through the portal, letting it close behind him.
