CLosed Log
WHO: General Hux and Altair
WHERE: Power Plant
WHAT: General Hux discusses a few things about a certain Supreme Leader with Altair.
WHEN: Post Storm
WARNINGS: Will update if necessary.
Since Kylo Ren's arrival, Hux had been up fretting over what to do and how to keep things from unraveling. The Supreme Leader really knew how to create scenes and usually Hux was the one to stop them. But that was long ago. Things had changed so much and now he had no control. Kylo Ren knew it and flaunted the fact. Now he was here to destroy all the hard work he had done here and disrupt the relationships he had started to form with the people.
He held Millicent close in his arms using her purring as a way to comfort himself. He was glad that Altair would be here and that he even had Altair. He was so used to being a lone and having to deal with his problems by himself. Eventually he was going to have to deal with the Supreme Leader, but for now he avoided him. He had to come up with a new strategy on how to handle things. He hoped Altair could provide another insight.

Though he didn't think they were really any closer to figuring out what was going on with the storms themselves.
The arrival of someone new was the true crisis it seemed, and Altair couldn't lie and say he wasn't seething inside at the threats, the disrespect, and willingness to waste supplies. Luckily, he was pretty good at saving his anger for when it would have a use. That time was not now, and his rage could feed his power later.
His mood had mellowed some, or perhaps he was just very good at burying his anger. He was just glad to have gotten a message from Hux, confirming that he was alright. He had been worried, after all, even if the other man had promised him he would return.
His arrival was perhaps a good five minutes before they'd agreed to meet, and as soon as he rounded the corner, he smiled, feeling that familiar closed off presence, and Milli.
He, himself, was accompanied by RE-1, who hopped off to take a look around, while Altair moved toward Hux, pulling his veil off to take a proper look at him.
"The arrival of an annoyance aside, I'm glad to see you're in one piece. I was worried, you know."

Hux replied as he moved to rest his head against Altair's chest.

Hux was competent. Altair knew that. But of course he'd worried, considering the danger of the situation. He was sure Hux would worry about him too, had he rushed off into danger. They were both skilled and capable, but emotions so rarely responded to logic.
He smiled as the other man moved close, glad to have him with him again. He'd worried. And he'd missed him. He moved a hand to pet over Hux's hair, sighing softly.
"I spoke to him. He's going to be trouble, I know. What do you need me to do?"
Altair was someone who would do anything for someone he loved, regardless of the form that love took. The romantic love he felt for Hux meant his instinct to protect was all the more fierce. So he worried for Hux's safety- and his mental health, as well. Having someone like that around would give them all headaches, but Hux most of all.

"I think the only thing we can do is wait and see what he will do. Anything can provoke him. It's hard to say if he will actually destroy the supplies or not. Ultimately, I believe he's testing us to see what people he's dealing with."

The possible loss of the supplies, while vexing, didn't hold a candle to Altair's concern that their new arrival might hurt someone. After all, he new the type, the type that lashed out at whatever displeased them. And he worried.
About Hux, and Eli, and everyone else he'd come to care about.
But especially about Hux, given the two had history. He'd already warned that if a hand was laid on anyone he cared for, then there would be consequences. But hearing from Hux what to expect, whether he needed to constantly keep his guard up- it would help.
Even if they both wished circumstances could be better.
