Oh, yeah, THAT'S a mess. There are people who are far more capable of helping the more dire and complicated aspects, and far more equipped to, so she's helping by trying desperately to stay out of their way. What she can at least do in the immediate aftermath is help direct uninjured Agrii somewhere hopefully safer, and find someone to help her get the injured ones to medical. So, if someone is nearby and looks like they're not tied up elsewhere, they'll get a “Hey, can I ask a favor?” from her.

Later, when it becomes clear they need to collect goods for trade, she knows that's something she can definitely do well. She decides to start with any fresh foods and nice plants she can scrounge up, because, well, she may as well start with flexing her Agriculture data point skills. Here is where anyone else who isn't otherwise tied up will get her coming up to them and recruiting them for help in this mission.

Radley is a little worried about giving up any of their valuable food, but these are desperate circumstances and it looks like it will indeed be necessary. He's looking at everything and trying to decide what they can spare when he hears Chrissy nearby.

"Hi," he greets. "You're dealing with this too, huh? What do you think we should take?"

She offers a quick smile. “Believe me, no one wants to see me try many other tasks; I'm leaving that one to those pros.” One of which she is very much not. “But, I was going to check out some foods and plants to start with. Maybe actually use my agriculture speciality here.” Ha.

Radley nods. "I could use your input. I don't have a datapoint." And he's fine with that. He doesn't want one unless it's necessary.

“Oh, I got you, then.” She can totally have his back on this one. She starts scouting out for the best plants. “Did any datapoint not appeal to you, or don't trust them?”

"Pretty much the latter. I don't like things skulking around in my brain that don't belong there," Radley smirks.

“Totally fair.” She offers a half smile. “I kind of saw it as I needed the boost of something. Alien planets and high school cheerleader might not mix well otherwise, you know?” She has no magic powers, she can't fight that well, et cetera.

"I get that," Radley agrees. "And it's a useful skill set."

“Sometimes I wish there was one that was like 'this datapoint makes you really good at telling jokes or playing pranks', because this place needs humor sometimes.” Would it be useful in terms of things they need to do here? No. Which is probably why it doesn't exist.

Radley chuckles. "Humor would be nice. I know if my friend Scotch was here, he'd liven everything up like that."

Seeing a plant that has promise in being valuable, she collects it. “Has it always been just you from your world here?” She arrived here already having a few people from her world in this place, which she's glad for. A lot of them need a place like this — a place where they can still live their lives.

"Yeah, it has," Radley says with a bit of a melancholy smile. "On the one hand, I'm glad my friends from home don't have to experience the bad things of being here. But on the other ... I miss them a lot and I know at least some of them, like Scotch, would find a lot to enjoy here."

“The people I actually hung out with at home would probably hate the weirdness of this place. I, and I suspect them, didn't really know how weird our town actually was; those monsters that showed up a bit ago are from where I'm from. Didn't know the full scope of that when I was home, though.” All she'd known was she was seeing some really weird things. “What's this Scotch person like?”

Radley winces. "That is pretty freaky they came from your place." He'd be horrified if the Earthbound Immortals showed up here.

He smiles. "Scotch loves science-fiction and fantasy and spooky things. He would be ecstatic to be on a big adventure like this. Of course, once he'd meet things like those monsters from your home, he'd sober up and realize some aspects of a sci-fi adventure are not fun."

“Well, sci-fi adventures do need heroes. Which I suppose means that by default some things have to be not so great so the heroes can hero.” She squints slightly (mostly at herself). That sentence made MUCH more coherent sense in her head. Oh well. The point still stands.

“And you? Were you much for fictional sci-fi before your life became a sci-fi adventure here?” She's seen Star Wars and a small handful of other sci-fi movies, but that's about all she can claim as far as the genre goes.

Radley is rather amused by the sentence. That honestly also sounds like something Scotch might say. "Hmm. Yes, I suppose you're right," he muses.

He nods to this. "I like some science-fiction. Star Wars, mostly, and Star Trek can be pretty good. I like the friendships on that. I'll pretty much watch anything to see a nice friendship."

“It is pretty hard to go wrong with either of those.” She agrees with a nod. “They're not science fiction, but personally I could watch Audrey Hepburn films on a never-ending loop.” Because of course she would. Audrey is timeless icon goals.

Seeing another plant that looks promising, she also decides to smell it only because it looks pretty and might smell nice like a rose or something? No, instead it makes her sneeze. Welp, should have seen that one coming.. maybe.

Radley smiles to that. "Audrey Hepburn is a class act."

He jumps slightly when the plant causes that reaction. "Gesundheit." He wonders if he would be allergic to it too, but opts not to test it.

“Thanks.” She shakes her head a little, as though that would get rid of the last of the irritants. “Okay maybe we don't do that with the plants.” A short pause. “If it had magically turned me into an alien cat or something, don't tell anyone from Hawkins.” They might never let her live that one down.

Radley smirks dryly. "Let's hope nothing here can cause such reactions, but with these guys, I'm not sure it'd surprise me."

“Right? I feel like I've seen everything but that. And even then, there's very likely a lot I'm not considering.” Oh, no doubt on that one. “You can have dibs on that particular I told you so.” When or if it happens.

Radley laughs darkly. "At least if we stay away from all Agrii candy, that should help prevent some things."

Here was Robin, also lost and not certain what to do. But at least there was someone calling out with clear intentions. Which wasn't what Robin was expecting, but she was okay with it. As okay as she can me.

"You can always ask me for just about anything, Chrissy."

“Awesome, you're the best as usual — um, I'm trying to herd these Agrii to safer places or to get medical care, because doing anything else right now would be me making things worse for everything. I need someone to team up with me to try this.” She nods in emphasis.

Team up, huh? Robin smirks and does her best 'I'm a cheerleader please love me' smile before clapping her hands before her rhythmically.

"Ready? Okay!"

And then drops it. Listen, she's watched a lot of cheerleaders before.

"But seriously, how do you purpose to herd people clearly as sensible as cats? Which are famously hard to handle?"

She laughs, like a loud and genuine amused one. Once she catches enough of her breath after: “You should have been a cheerleader too. Missed your second calling.”

And then sighs and looks around. “Praying to alien gods that they listen and give us skills?” Not really, but also not ruling it out of they have to. Desperate times, et cetera. “Maybe those rope barrier things, like you see in theater lines and stuff?”

"I promise, it's not even my third of fourth calling. I have literally zero school spirit. And you wouldn't want me on the team."

Robin felt... awkward about being around skirts that short. And do cheerleaders change in the gym? She doesn't know. If they do, wow, she should not be around that. Changing for gym was already a WHOLE THING.

"I don't really believe in gods, so let's come up with another plan maybe."

Oh. Rope barriers! Yeah.

"We used those at the theater plenty. Let me see what I can come up with."

“You totally qualify, because a not insignificant number of people join not because they're cheer prodigies but 'cause they're cute and are decent enough at copying moves and fake it until they make it.” Sorry if she just burst any bubbles about illusions of cheerleaders all starting off as olympic level athletes or anything.

“If there's nothing like that around, we need plans B, C, and D, and probably the rest of the alphabet.”

"Well, I can probably copy moves and fake it. Two out of three ain't bad," she says with a shrug. "But I'm not coordinated enough for a lot of what I've seen you guys do. So we'll keep my feet as firmly on the ground as we can."

Geez, do they need to letter the plans? Seems like it's too much.

"We'll find something. Even if it means breaking into Agrii rooms and taking their bedsheets or whatever."

“We can probably manage to keep our feet grounded.” But, just in case. Also, hopefully they don't NEED lettered plans, but that's also a just in case.

“Now I just want bedsheets so it looks like it looks like we're making a bedsheet rope to comically sneak out of a window or something like that.”

"That's a fair point," she says. So they've got a mission now.

"Come on, we're on sheet quest."

“Lead the way.” She replies with a small smile, ready for this mission. “And if it doesn't work, we'll still have a funny story about the time we stole sheets, or thought that sheets would actually work, I guess. There's...worse stories to have.” At least it doesn't sound like one that ends with something broken or on fire, but she won't jinx it by saying so.

"There are definitely worse stories," she agrees with a laugh. "Alright, let's go do crimes."

She's already gay for them too! Hit a metric there.

Off to crimes! First place they find, it's on for sheet stealing.

“Just be ready to call Steve and tell him to come get us.” Does that count as a backup plan? It does now.

"That is a terrible back up plan," she laughs before starting off down the hall. "Steve would only cause more trouble."

And she doesn't mind that.

“But it's a back up plan.” She never said it was the best one, ha. “But in that case, the .. more... the merrier?” Sure. That one. That's the one. “We can just say we had too much fun and didn't want to hog all the fun or something.” No one would buy that; oh well.

"Yeah, but girls having to call on guys for help? So cliche. I'll pass. Cheerleaders and band geeks don't need jocks rescuing us about 80 percent of the time."

The other twenty percent they are the rescuers or there are Russians and... well, she'll pass there.
