WHO: Keith, open to all
WHERE: Around the village
WHAT: Not!Kid Shenanigans
WHEN: During the New Tick stuff
WARNINGS: None right now
Snowball Fights Around the Village
This wouldn't be the first time Keith had been turned into a kid, honestly. It wasn't even the first time it had happened to him with his memories intact. But, it did make it an even two-for-two on memories vs no memories...
Why was he keeping count?
He huffed a sigh, watching some of the other off-worlders who'd been turned to kids enjoy the snow instead of being scared at being kids with no idea where they were. Unless some of them still had their memories like he did, and they just wanted to have fun.
Honestly, Keith was tempted, too. But, even when he was actually still a kid, he'd tended to hold back from things like this. Maybe, if the right person came along, he could be convinced to join in...]

Giftmas
Keith also didn't exactly go running to the barn to pick up a gift. The idea of getting them was still something he tended to not think about too often until-
SMASH!
The front door was bashed open and a couple of boxes were dropped inside. He stared for a second, mildly concerned, but then remember the gifting stuff from last year.
Right. That was a thing here.
There were two boxes with his name, so... he picked up the smaller one first. It was easier to handle at his current size. When he opened it, he immediately recognized the journal/sketchbook that Shiro in Drift Fleet had given him, the pen still neatly tied in the lacing like the last time he'd left it. He quickly opened it, thumbing through the pages. It was there... his sketches, his notes... not everything was related to clues and things from Drift Fleet. There were some more personal sketches and things in there, too. The further in one got, the more sketches of Lance there were...
Keith smiled slightly, a soft nostalgic look.
Once he'd poked through it enough to satisfy himself for now, he gently put it aside and then went to try opening the bigger box. Inside was his red Paladin armor from Voltron. He gasped a bit in surprise, but was honestly glad to have it. Running around without it had been feeling a little risky, to be honest. He'd gotten used to having it or his Blade armor at least, even in Drift Fleet. He hadn't had either one since arriving in Temba, and he still didn't exactly feel right without it during potentially dangerous moments.
Did the Agrii just give Keith license to do crazy things?
Maybe...

Maybe...

[Keith pointed at Lance.]
Just 'cuz I'm small doesn't mean I suddenly like nicknames.
no subject
[He strolls up to him, unable to help from ruffling his hair.]
no subject
He huffed.]
This isn't fair. I thought you had some of the chocolate, too.
no subject
[Safety first!]
no subject
Whatever.
[Yes, Keith was grateful Lance hadn't given Kosmo any of the chocolate, but it just felt like the multi-verse was doing this to just him on purpose.
He lowered his gaze to the snow for a moment, still visibly pouting, but in a pretty swift movement and an attempt to make himself feel better, he swiped his hand through it just enough to get as much as he could hold at the moment and smooth it into Lance's face. And oh... it's filled with glitter.
Keith chuckled.]
no subject
The quzinak, Keith!
[A pout, and he wipes the snow best he can off his face.]
no subject
Yes, Keith was proud of himself. No regrets.]
Hey, you started it.
no subject
[He swipes up some snow himself, smushing it into Keith's hair.]
no subject
no subject
Augh!
no subject
[Keith grinned, a rare sight, honestly.
Though, in Lance's defense, it wasn't just the Galra DNA. At this height, Keith had a much lower center of gravity and could brace himself better.]
Tall and lanky doesn't work well on ice, huh?
[Tease tease.]
no subject
[Lance's hand darts out and grabs Keith's ankle, yanking in an effort to have him topple to the ground too.]
no subject
no subject
You are with your big strong cat DNA!
no subject
I'm not a cat. [And there was that whiny tone again. He huffed a small sigh, sitting back on his heels in the snow and then tossing a handful of it at Lance.] Besides... making fun of my heritage is mean.
[Okay, so that last part, especially between Keith and Lance, was kind of not really serious.]
no subject
[He snorts, sitting up, wiping some snow off of him.]
And yeah, you're not a cat right now. You're a kitten.
no subject
[Of course, the fact that this was New Tick, and all the snow was currently covered in glitter from the balloon star glitter bomb the Agrii had set off in celebration last night meant that Keith and Lance were also both covered in glitter, and a glittery pre-teen was not really all that intimidating.]
no subject
[And he'll just be smirking back. Later, he's sure the two of them are going to have a bitch and a half getting the glitter off of themselves, but right now? He'll revel in this fun.]
no subject
[Keith crossed his arms, a knowing look on his face. After all, how did Lance end up with all of them in the Blue Lion's cave that morning? Uuuhhh... breaking the rules and sneaking out?]
no subject
[His eyes glitter just as much as the snow around them.]
no subject
[Yup, Keith went there. Old goodie-two-shoes James Griffin, the tattletale of their Garrison class. A stickler for the rules and would freak out if anyone around him even dared put a toe out of line.
Granted, he'd grown up and learned that things could bend a little when necessary, but Keith and James did not get along in the early days... even before they'd been in the Garrison, as they'd both gone to the same middle school. Now, there was this kind of grudging respect where they mostly just left each other alone unless they had to work with each other for something.]
