Yo, if you've got Agriculture or you're looking to get it OR you're a regular helper in the greenhouses, eyes here. We've got a project and it needs to start whenever the Agrii let us off of these ships, so we need to pool resources and planning here!

I know we're often relatively polite and don't jump across conversation threads, but here I'm going to encourage it. Because I've heard people have found an Agrii note on the Bridges reading 'Soon' and that worries me. If we're going to be using these ships to head off planet soon and if it's an extended trip like we've sometimes had, we're going to need fresh food too.

We've got two greenhouses to load up for those purposes, folks, and two cities of greenhouses to pull from. So we need to start making plans because these things are pretty empty right now, mostly with plants I've seen on the Agrii ship before, not the stuff we use a lot.

So, we've got to figure out what we want, if we want the greenhouses on both ships to have the same stuff, whether we're doing full transplants or just cuttings and hoping things take and grow, how we're laying stuff out, who is helping us get the stuff, how we're moving it all without the cold outside shocking it and killing it, you know, the important things.

Also, do we even try for fruit trees?

I'm hoping we all have the starts of a healthy plan for when they let us go so we can start.

So, uh, ideas go. I'm going to bounce off to get a drawing kit from the replicator and maybe see if I can find some architect or planner or whatever to help me get precise measurements.

OH! And if you're not Agriculture or one of our regular helpers but still wanna help with ideas, go for it. And if you're familiar with the animal care stuff, plans for how to herd some of the Bantha and Glownies onto the ship might not be a bad idea. Just wish we had some domesticated birds, you know? Regular eggs would be so damn nice.

Extra Oh, if you're Cal and you're seeing this, I know you're a whiz with those space heaters you make for the winter. Any chance you have ideas for how to rig up portable ones, perhaps for transporting plants from the greenhouses to here? Some would need to go from the Sh'Ka greenhouse to maybe the hangar there if the shuttles will go to Sh'Ka.

Okay, that's me off to go get stuff, let's plan!

I'm definitely on board with stocking up as much as we can. I think we should have some of what we like the most on both ships. I don't recommend full transplants for everything, though. We should leave something in town.

I wouldn't be opposed to trying fruit trees.

Well, that's just like them. Ugh.

That sounds like the pits.

Your dad was here back then?

Yeah, that's another reason why I'd rather do cuttings.

I'm sorry that happened.

Upsetting that he was there or that he was on a different ship?

Yeah. Maybe we could replant just a few things we have more than one of and then cuttings for others?

I've definitely been thinking about that.

Haha! I noticed that. I'm glad they like them, but we need them to last longer. I'm not sure where to hide them, though. Someone determined enough could probably still find them anywhere.

I wonder if keeping them in our rooms would help.

Oh, we'd bring them out when we wanted to cook with them. But it wouldn't be quite fair, would it? Hmm.

Yeah, that's pretty much all we can do, and hope it's good enough.

Yeah. It never feels like it's good enough, and yet sometimes it's all you've got.

Why thank you. Yes, we are pretty awesome at that.

We should try to make lists of all the foods we'll especially want on the ships, and how much.

Those are all good plans. As soon as we can get back to everything, maybe we can start working on bringing some of the grain.

Cool. I'll make some lists and we can compare notes in a bit.

Or I will. We'll see who makes it first.
