Interlude - He Row Come You Knee Cay Shun (but not really)
[Two items. Certainly he knows the Agrii are watching, but they don't know intent, not unless it's spoken, and Donnie has no need to make mention of his extra projects. Projects he has aplenty, and he works on different ones all the time, some to completion and some in phases, or as long as inspiration strikes.
A small item with many gears, perhaps not as traditional as one would find in Earth-known mechanisms but it works the same way. It's a clock, which had been a bit of a fun challenge to work out and a nice break from his usual technological tinkerings. He's got it as close to how Temba time works and left it as a wind-up mechanism, with carefully written instructions, as simple as he could make it, for how to set it and how to keep it running. He puts it in a bag with a tag that says: Mu Ly
The second item is considerably less technical. A glass cube-shaped container about several inches in length and depth and width with a cover, filled a third of the way with soil and sand from the beach. There's little seeds tucked into the dirt along some of the sides so progress of germination can be seen, and towards the inner part of the terrarium, a small patch of moss and tiny sprigs of little lavender flowers that Donnie's found to be quite hardy. A little spray bottle is packed with it along with instructions to spritz once every so many days, and this tag reads: Te Mi
Both gifts are left in plain sight on a table in his workshop. He figures if they can just drop things randomly on people, then it shouldn't be difficult to retrieve things either.]

In its place is a note written in some form of pink paint reading 'Us Thank You. Give Gift Back When See Soon.']

[Well. That's good to know how that works. Note for next time. Although speaking of.
Donnie looks down at the message, the furrow of his brow smoothing out as he reads it before a faintly amused smile tugs at his lips. He shakes his head before glancing ceilingwards as though he can see them. Aliens.]
