[Whether or not Altair is in the place he's usually at is difficult to tell- after all, he's not often inclined to use his device's video function, unless he's speaking to someone he already knows.

From the looks of it though, he's at the hospital, and it looks... Surprisingly functional. Obviously he's been working on it for at least a few days.] Knowing those of you I know, and knowing of those of you who I don't as well, I assume some- if not most- of you are braving the storm. Playing the heroes the Agrii wished for.

[His veil is off and he... Looks mildly concerned. Had his veil been on, his expression would have looked like neutrality. Without it, he's not as good at hiding his feelings as he wishes he was.]

I've been getting the hospital ready. Something like this, some of you are bound to get hurt. The hospital is here, and so I am I. Until things settle, I doubt I'll be leaving much. I'm typically no healer, but the situation takes precedence over my preferences.

[His lips quirk into a brief smile.] Any complaints about my bedside manner, however, and I can assure you you'll be leaving the hospital more broken than you came in. Or at the very least shuffled down on my list of priorities.

[That was a joke. Even if his tone doesn't suggest it.]

[Because privacy is needed to lock anyone else out from seeing how he goes from blue to bright purple.] I assume I'll still wear it more often than not. But our dear hosts ensured that I was outed as a Chiss already.

[What with being turned into a child and all. He smiles slightly, still quite an impressive shade of purple.]

Rest assured that you're the only one who gets to see the softer side of me, at least. That is one thing that is yours and yours alone.

I'd love to. I feel safe when I'm with you, so truly, there is nothing I could want more.

I don't think I've seen that particular version before. But that is also before my time. It's always good to have a scout droid around. I had one back when I did some snipping missions.

I believe I received some art supplies with a sketch book. I look forward to using them afterward.

We used them on archaeological digs back home. They're smaller than even I am, and could get into places I could not.

The Reclamation Service teams I worked with always felt calmer when we had these droids with us too. Wouldn't look good for them if they lost a Dark Councilor in a tomb somewhere, after all.

[That seemed to be mostly a joke. He's not that reckless that he disappears into a... Oh no, wait, he is absolutely that reckless when it comes to unearthing artifacts and history.]

[Wanda doesn't care what the Agrii want, frankly. But what is she supposed to do, just let her remaining friends run off into danger? Nope.]

My power can keep someone stable long enough to get them back to you, I think. If someone is hurt more than I can heal I will call you.

I don't think anyone here is going specifically for them. Least of all those of us who've lost people.

[And she does call later, just like she'd promised. It's dark, and he can probably hear the storm raging outside. There's a cut on Wanda's forehead and her face is streaked with dirt and either tears or rain.]

I saw him, in the storm. But I could never reach him.

[And no matter how she spins this around in her head, she's sure that this means that Vision and Kitty and Vash and everyone else they've lost must be in danger. But she promised, and Altair deserves to know.]

[The danger their friends might be in worries him, of course. But he's equally worried about her.]

That cut looks nasty. Is there someone with you who can take a look?

[His immediate concern is her safety. It will do no one any good if people get so injured they can't go on any more.]

I do not mean to doubt, but you're sure? There's... Something going on here. Afterimages of Agrii and other aliens in the streets. They don't feel like ghosts, at least none that I've ever sensed. Closer to the storm... I don't know.

[He shakes his head. If their people are truly in danger, then it won't end well for the Agrii, should they ever be foolish enough to show themselves in person.

But if these are some sort of illusions... It's difficult to know without being there himself.]

I won't discourage you from your search. You know I won't. But can I at least ask you to be careful?

[Wanda just shakes her head but only briefly - the movement hurts.]

Our powers are gone. There's nothing to help it.

[She winces and leans back against the cave wall.]

He looked solid but...it's the storm, it's done something to him. I don't think he could hear me. [A beat.] I don't think they're safe.

[Which means that no, she can't promise to be careful, but she can promise to try harder]

[He gets it. He really does. He understands. Had he been there, he'd be chasing them too. Powerless or no. Even from a distance, his desire to protect, to take injuries upon himself rather than see his friends hurt, is raring its ugly head.

But...]

I do understand. But consider your own safety as well. I don't know your loved ones. But I feel safe in saying that they wouldn't want you getting hurt, either.

[Such cautioning is something he'd dismiss himself. He'll take a thousand strikes before letting even one land on someone he loves. But still.]

[Tyrion is in the ship, frowning as he works with the controls. Trying to figure out how to measure the storm itself. See if there was a way to get to the center of it. Right now though, he couldn't see a damned way.]

No one is going to complain, if this storm is as large as it looks.

You would be surprised how willing people are to complain regardless.

[He's got first-hand experience with that fact and definitely sounds like he's dealt with people complaining even when they really shouldn't.]

Regardless, it was mostly a jest. I'd at least be kind enough to help with any pain before shuffling them down the priority list.

Considering all things ... perhaps I would not be. Seven knows, I have complained enough. My family was always one to look gift horses in the mouth.

Oh, please do. Lannisters can be quite ear-piercing when voicing their perceived injuries and mis-fortunes.

[He can mostly point the finger of that towards his siblings and his father -- but he cannot forget his own petty grievances. Time to be fair.

I'll keep that in mind... Though I'm certain I've dealt with worse. I'm a politician of sorts at home and my fellows like to argue their points in tones that could shatter glass.

[A touch of humor is nice. Despite the danger that lies ahead.]

It's a miracle that I haven't gone deaf yet, to be honest.
