Sh'Ka most definitely seems safer.

The weird girl was apparently one of two vampires. They threw a bash and tried to convince everybody to turn into vampires willingly. It got ... messy. Thankfully, they seem to be gone now.

The portals really are a whole new level of what the Hell is this. We really need a break.

i'm not even surprised that vampires are real
we've got superheros and anthropomorphic hedges and what not
why would i even be surprised about vampires at this point

i'm thankful she's gone at least
the weird girl tried to tear my throat out
she was almost successful

maybe the agrii will throw a party or something

I'm pretty good at it. I could probably try to throw something together. We don't have everything here we would back home, but I'd do my best.

I was thinking about that. I'll definitely try it. Earth parties are pretty fun when planned right.

with the people we have living here
no doubt it'll be a fun party
and probably a WILD party on top of it

red drink that can get people drunk?

I'm sure. And I haven't had personal experience with the red drink they serve here, but yes, I've heard it serves that purpose.

drinks serve no purpose for someone like me
so i don't have the experience either

i guess i'll keep an eye out if anyone decides to throw a party
probably be the most normal thing that's happened here

but not all androids a the same
i can't consume anything
connor or markus might be able to tho

cyberlife androids can be installed with this little
sac in their throat that they can empty
so they can simulate eating without actually doing it
i don't have any idea if there's a program to indicate if they have favorite foods or not

yeah that's what some people wanted from their androids
so they paid extra for the feature
there's all sorts of androids made for different jobs
janitors
builders
explict workers
some security i think
low grade, without weapons
androids are not allowed weapons

What if they go up against someone who has a gun?

it's not pretty
and i'm speaking from what i've seen with my own eyes
humans don't really care about androids where i'm from
we're just another appliance

That doesn't surprise me, sadly. But it seems very inefficient and wasteful, to say nothing of cruel. I mean, people should take care of their 'appliances' so they'll last a long time and not just be willing to cast them off so easy.

[It sounds a lot like how his rival and his gang treated humans, so it's a particular sore spot for him.]

it's a long story
but those of us that deviated from our mainline programming
we had a safe space away from humans
then they found us
our safe space doesn't exist anymore
and that's when i showed up here
but markus says that things got better because he's from my future

i can only hope he's right

Well, that's encouraging if things get better. Meanwhile, I guess it's nice you got away from what was happening back there for a while?
