[Video] Still Rearranging

[ The feed opens up to Zelda crouching down so her face it taking up most of the picture before she steps back to reveal her room that she's presumably been working on all this time. It looks better than it had been. ]

Hello, to those of you whom I haven't met; I'm Princess Zelda. However, I won't be offended if you wish to just refer to me as Zelda.

I have a request and this seemed like the best place to ask. Some of you know I've been rearranging things in this room I've chosen and I've decided that I wish to make the old bed frame into a plant bed. That way I can study them from the comfort of my own room and record my findings.

I have drawn a rough blueprint of how I want it look. [ She says 'rough' however, it's a very detailed blueprint complete with measurements. ]

My request is this, I will need assistance with building, of course. Would anyone be will to help me construct it?

What information could you possibly glean from the flora here?

Well, potential medicinal properties would be a good start and then of course their are likely several other practical uses.

Hm. I've yet to find any practical uses for such things on my world but perhaps this world will yield more interesting results.

You say you've drawn a blueprint? Let me see.

[No doubt it's a poor showing. Why is he even bothering with this?]

That is grim to hear, indeed. Is your world without medicines?

[ she reaches over and grabs the blueprint before holding it up to the screen. It's extremely detailed down to exact measurements and listing the name of the materials and wood she plans to use. ]

We have medicine.

[He's not going to go into specifics. He knows medicine can be derived from plants he just prefers machines.]

[But the detail of the blueprints catches him offguard.]

Hrm. [These are good. Someone with a brain it seems.]

I can build this.

[ Well, if there are medicines then obviously the plants do serve a practical purpose. Never mind the integral part they play in the balance of nature. ]

Could you? I would be very grateful.

Do you have tools? Where is this frame located?

You say you're looking to cultivate plants. I can assemble a heat lamp.

You seem quite proficient in engineering.

Oh, you're very kind. The truth is, I just enjoy reading and learning new things.

The frame is in my bedroom, I'm hoping to turn it into a study, if I'm able.

Kindness has nothing to do with it! If the flora prove to be useful then I expect you to share your findings with me as recompense.

Rest assured, I fully intend to share my finding with anyone who would be interested.

Hmph. Very well.

Where are you located? I'll come and collect the items myself to begin construction.

At the moment, I am located at the hotel on the second floor. I will eagerly await your arrival.

Even if it wasn't for like, academic purposes, I'm sure a plant bed would brighten up the room!

I'm not really a carpenter or anything, but I can definitely help out wherever you need me to.

Oh, thank you very much. I'm not much of an architect but I'm sure it won't be too difficult to construct.

I'm sure we'll think of something if we put our heads together!

Oh, I don't think we've met before. The name's Lance. Nice to meet ya!

It's very nice to meet you. [ She offers a small bow of her head. ]

Link and I will be gathering the materials but once we have them, hopefully construction won't take too long.

Link waits, patiently, for Zelda to finish her message and her conversations on the network. He doesn't feel any need to interrupt or look over her shoulder; he's happy to just exist in her space, and wait.

But when she stops replying, and sets the communicator down - then, he pipes up.

"Can find you materials," he promises. Because even if he's not practiced in the way of construction, he still wants to be useful to her.

Her request made and having successfully used the communicator she's feeling rather proud of herself. She sets the communicator down and looks over at Link. She offers him a small smile.

"I've composed a list of all the materials I believe will be needed for this project." She explains, moving some papers around that were scattered nearby before finding the one she needs.

"It's not too much but I thought that perhaps we could gather the materials together?"

Link's used to gathering things on his own. Doing everything on his own, really. But now there's Zelda, and going things with her is both new, and familiar at the same time.

It's nice. He likes being able to do things with her.

So he nods, a faint flicker of a smile on his face. He leans over, to peer at her list. "What do you need?"

Her list is very detailed with a few things crossed off that she's decided she doesn't want. She adjusts so that he can see it better. Happy to know they can go on this scavenger hunt together.

"Not too much, I don't think. Wood, of course, nails or screws and some metal framing. and of course we'll need to smooth the edges of the wood."

Link nods.

"Wood is easy." They'd just have to find some trees, and chop a few down. "Maybe can scavenge the rest."

It would all depend on what they'd be able to find, in the abandoned ruins of the city. Chances are there would be some somewhere. How easy it would be to find, though, was another question.

Zelda nods in agreement with his statement. "I wonder if the replicator would be of any use for some the supplies." She voices, looking over her list again.

"Or... perhaps." She pauses and then looks around the room again. She'd really prefer more space for her studies. She's collected and repotted a few plants that are sitting on the floor.

"Perhaps we could look for a disused building with more space? I believe your collection could use an extra room as well."

Link makes a soft noise of encouragement - he's no expert on the replicator, but he's sure it'll be of some use. Especially since Link now gives some of his own rations to Zelda - rather than giving all of them to Dustin, like he used to.

"Like...a house?" Link says, eyes widening just a fraction, as he immediately thinks of his own house, back in Hateno. A house he's shown to Zelda, when they stopped by after visiting Ruta. He remembers how much she'd liked it, how she'd thought it was nice and cozy and homely.

A far cry from her room in the castle.

But he hasn't taken a house for his own here. Or imagined that Zelda would suggest sharing one, with him.

She tries to keep her tone even and hide the slight blush that's come to her cheeks at his reaction. Perhaps that was a bit forward. Though she does think they could both use a little more space.

"If you're in favor of the idea. I just thought since there is a limited amount of space in the hotel rooms it would be a better alternative." She most certainly wouldn't want him to be uncomfortable, of course.

"And I am rather fond of the idea of growing my own Garden."

Maybe a little forward. But...Link didn't mind.

Though the tips of his ears might be going a little pink, too.

"...I'd like that," he says. A house, for him and Zelda. Maybe even with a little sign out the front, and a nice kitchen, and a space to display his giant mgoose antler...
