I knew I was gonna regret making her that web shooter
Who: Peter B Parker, OTA
What: Arrival and exploring
Where: Temba, fountain, diner, replicator
When: early month
Warnings: None
Arrival
Having appeared and touched the weird ball, Peter sat on the edge of the fountain and rested his chin in May's hair as he processed. The Dimensional Travel Watch would have been the obvious answer, but it wasn't working. So far at least he wasn't glitching, which would imply he was still somewhere in his own dimension.
"Nah, don't worry Kid," he assured as May looked up at him with those big eyes, Peter lifting his head to smile at her, "If I can't figure this out there's a whole Society that'll track us down eventually."
And so, with that existential panic halted for the moment, Peter took to exploring.
The Diner
Wandering inside, Peter looked over the available food, sampling a few straight from the share plates but not finding what he was looking for.
"Hey, uh- you guys got milk around here? Formula? Baby food, any of that?" he asked, mouth full and a hand on the baby strapped round his chest.
Replicators
Whatever you were planning to do at the replicators, it probably wasn't babysit. But a squirmy and bright eyed baby girl was passed off to you before you could get out an objection.
"Hey! Great, can you just- hold onto this for a second-?" the girl's presumable guardian requested, needing a moment to concentrate as he typed chemical compounds into the machine.
Said child seemed to be quite the escape artist, and was going to make it very difficult to hold onto her.
"You know, something like this would have saved me a whole lot of time back in the day," he said, gesturing to replicator, taking out vials he'd produced and holding up a finger, "Just- one more sec- I swear," he insisted, putting the finishing touches on something before- "There we go Mayday! You have your web-shooters back, just like Daddy."

Replicators
Pikachu, ever present on his shoulder seems very excited about the small human, chattering excitedly and leaning in for a closer look. He doesn’t usually see humans this tiny. Not up close anyway.
”Pika! Pikachu!” he says happily.
no subject
"Ah- May-" Peter tries to correct, "Don't pull the...kitty's fur. Gentle."
no subject
Pikachu sees those grabby hands and moves up to Ash's head. He's likes the small human but he does not want his ears, cheeks or tail pulled on. If May tries follow him, he'll jump down and climb up to Peter's head instead.
"Pika..." he says uncertainly.
no subject
Peter freezes up at the cat-think climbing him like a squirrel, blinking a bit owlishly and he tries to look up at it.
"Oookay, nope-" he scoops May up just before she can try to jump after the furry thing, planting a kiss on her forehead and placing her securely back inside her baby bjorn. She still tries to reach for the creature, calling for it forlornly.
no subject
Now that that's all over and done with, Pikachu resumes his original place on Ash's shoulder.
"Sorry about that." Ash offers a little sheepishly. "Anyways, I'm Ash, and this is Pikachu."
"PiKachu!" The yellow mouse says in greeting.

Diner
He was on the floor of the kitchen, parts and tools spread around him like he had already exploded, and if anyone else had come in since he started this project, he definitely hadn't heard them. He only properly tuned in to the voice frequency by the third question, an insistent enough noise that he finally looked up, and could just barely see the top of a man's head over the edge of the counter. He was going to be annoyed by the interruption, but in that time he had processed the voice, and the eyes, and was already asking, "Jesus, Pete, what happened--?" as he rolled up onto his feet. From there, he could see the baby.
The last time he had seen Peter, he was an infant. Much younger than he should have been, but stably so since his arrival, and Tony had adapted. Now he was much older than he was supposed to be, like the universe had overshot in its recalculation. Baffled, Tony managed to produce, "Tell me that's not mine," hand to his heart, pointing at the mystery child. Of the two of them, Peter wasn't supposed to be the one ruining women's lives.

"Heh," he gave a self depreciating laugh and shrugged a shoulder, spreading his arms in acknowledgement. The Spider Society at least has prepared him for moments like that.
"I got old," he answered, and then grinned down at May, kissing the top of her head. "I think I'd remember," he said, though May reached her chubby little hands excitedly for Tony.
"May, you remember Tony?"

"MJ? Back home I'm hoping. She uh...didn't seem to get invited on this particular trip," Peter said, shrugging a shoulder, but his creased brow betrayed his worry for his wife. "Clearly she got all her good looks from her mother," he added.

"You run this place?" he asks of the stranger.
no subject
He smiles. "Well, partially. There's others too. I'm Radley."
no subject
"Peter," he greets, "And uh- this here is May."

Arrival
Except no - this isn't one of the Spider-people at all. This climber clearly isn't sticking to anything. There's no supernatural ability in how he scales the building. Just normal, ordinary climbing skill. And probably a decent amount of strength, considering that he's also lugging up a sword, shield, and bow on his back as well.
no subject
"Hey- uh-...you got a minute?" he calls after the climber.
no subject
He's seen this before.
"...You stick like Peter!" he says.

Once that was done the woman moved over to Peter and offered a smile.
"I'm not sure it is milk as you would know, but I believe I could go milk a Bantha for you, in hopes that it might work. I think someone has a single cow, but I don't know where it is, as it's a pet. As for baby food, that's easy enough to make."
When she reaches Peter's side she hold out a hand.
"Lark."
no subject
"Peter," he replies belated, shaking her hand and laughing May excited extends and waves her hand to try and shake as well. "And this is May."
no subject
As for Peter, she offers him a brief nod. But to May? The woman may be older but she is not so caught up in her own dignity that she cannot lean in to wave her fingers and coo a greeting at the girl.
"Well are you not truly adorable. Would you like some nice little outfits? I could happily make you some of all sorts of colors from the leftovers of the other clothes I make."
Because for her scrap cloth can just be woven together into something whole.
no subject
"Think she likes you," he notes, and he smiles fondly, "Could you actually? That or point me to the nearest Babies R Us? Kid goes through clothes like that," he says, snapping a finger.

Did he just hear web-shooters?
Wesker frowns. "You have three seconds to take this back." He notes flatly, obviously referring to the toddler.
no subject
May squirms and makes a face as she's held firm, eventually relenting with a little baby huff and sticking her tongue out at the man.
"This is called May," Peter corrects, using those limited seconds to slide those web-shooters onto her hands with a grin.
no subject
"Why are you arming the child?" He asks pointedly. Of course he recalls Peter threatening him with his web shooters as well as them being used against him. It's hardly something he deems appropriate for the hands of a child.
no subject
May nods, though those big eyes are trained on the shiny glasses on Wesker's face, and she shoots a web out to try and steal them away.
