A - Snow Planet

[Keith didn't get to experience snow much having grown up in the American Southwest, but here he was, cold, wet, and not really all that happy. The forced trip on to the ships with no idea what was happening had been harrowing enough. Were they all going to the same place? Were they being sent home? Quite a few questions had rattled around in his brain for the duration of the flight, and the calls from a harrowed Lance had been rough. The two of them were fairly codependent at this point, and being apart wasn't easy on either of them. Still, Keith found himself trying to stay calm for Lance's sake (though, he had the fleeting suspicion that Lance was doing the same and that neither of them was showing the other how they truly were faring), and it had left him pretty tired once they landed.

Being able to find Lance again had been nothing short of a relief at this point.

They'd picked a cabin, and found their sweater (Apparently, Lance won the 'team name' debate.), and were now exploring the little village on their own. Keith went around attempting to locate others he knew to make sure they'd made the trip. The only ones he knew for certain other than Lance were his shipmates...]

B - Robo-Claus

[After the startling wake-up call in the middle of the night with their "gifts" (Keith had been pretty ready to kill the intruder until he figured out what the heck was going on.), he could be found walking around with the Black Bayard hooked to his belt. Occasionally, when he was away from a crowd or in an open space, he could be found testing it out, making sure it was still working and he could properly form his sword.]

C - Never Take Candy from Strangers

[Guess who'd gotten into the candy. Guess who, because of said candy, was now a kid and couldn't remember anything beyond his first year at the Garrison. Guess who was a grumpy child with anger issues and had difficulty trusting people.

Keith was maybe 14 years old at this point, his hair a bit shorter, but still fluffy and unkempt looking, and he didn't have the large scar on his right cheek. He did have a massive chip on his shoulder, hating the universe for his lot in life, and being super resentful about everything. For a young teen, Keith was extremely bitter.

If Billy or Mom or Auntie Lorna say I'm supposed to listen to you, then I'll listen. Unless you tell me to do something bad.

[Seems simple, doesn't it? Because he trusts his big brother to not tell him to do things that would be bad for him.]

You should listen to people who are older than you, but you're right.

[Billy had been looking after his younger brothers alone by Keith's age, the two of them would probably get along fine.]

[Keith shook his head.]

No. I wouldn't say something like that.

[Keith was grumpy, but he wasn't a bad person.]

Nuh-uh. Sometimes people who are older than me are stupid.

[Tommy knows this is CLEARLY the truth. How can it not be? He's the bestest kid ever.]

You did get mean earlier, Keith. But it's okay. I forgive you. Friends do that.

[Billy glanced back again, wanting to know more about what he missed, but since they seem to be getting alone now it felt rude to ask what happened between them before that.]

Here, food's ready. I'm not uh...a great cook, but it's something beside candy and food gel.

[He plates up what looks to be some kind of boxed mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs, and broccoli. The sort of meal he could manage to make for his brothers back home, and with a bit of magical assistance here.]

[Keith frowned a little again, but sighed.]

Yeah.

[Yeah, he'd been mean. He knew it. He wasn't a bad person... he just had... issues.]

Sorry.

[There it was. Keith was used to apologizing for his overreactions... it just took some time to come out. He looked up as Billy brought over the simple mac and cheese with hot dogs. Keith wasn't going to complain. He was used to pretty simple food anyway.]

Thanks.

[He was still a bit cautious, but, eventually, his hunger won over and he started eating more enthusiastically, more like a normal fourteen year old.]

[Well the sorry earns a beaming smile from Tommy. Clearly all is forgiven. It's not even that he has a short memory. It's just that for it's like a good deal of hours has passed, and being concerned isn't even something that occurs to him. Not once an apology is out there.

Honestly the broccoli offends him more, and he makes a face at it and then his brother.]

Can we get a puppy so it can eat my broccoli?

[He'd give it to Keith too, really. But for now he starts into his food.]

No. You need to eat your vegetables.

[Billy looks pretty firm about that, though he flashes Keith a small smile to indicate that rule only really applies to Tommy. Keith's old enough to figure that stuff out for himself without some stranger telling him what to do.]

[Keith looked momentarily amused, just a bit, and then almost made a point of eating his broccoli. He liked vegetables. Always had, honestly, but he'd always been the type to want to be in shape. He was active, and, as a presumably normal human, he knew that eating right would help with that. His dad had instilled that in him early.]

They're not that bad. You should try it.

[Oh no, Keith's eating the broccoli. It's going to make him LOOK BAD. Tommy pouts and takes a bit too because he's not a baby he can eat his veggietables too.]

They're horrible.
