[OPEN] An angry B.O.W. enters a bar...

WHO: Albert & whoever dares bothering him
WHERE: The Deep End
WHAT: Contemplations, preparations and- A mess.
WHEN: Post-Calibrations
WARNINGS: Wesker. He is not in a good mood.

It's barely the middle of the day but for some reason or another Wesker can be found at the bar of the Deep End, a drink in front of him and a cigarette between his fingers. He hasn't been smoking a lot since Raccoon City, but this place sure likes to give him headaches and reasons to pick up an old habit again.

The ships are still gone, a good part of his research that had been left unattended for weeks has become useless and thanks to those ridiculous dreams a few people have acquired knowledge Wesker isn't okay with being known. Yes, he killed most of these individuals, but that had only been in his dream. And yes, he has learned a few things himself while ending up in the dreams of others. Now they are all free of those dreams again and Wesker needs to figure out what to do next.

That the ships are gone is bothersome. He used those to rest. To sleep and eat and just be away from everyone else. Now he may have to rely on his office in the hospital more than he likes.

He casts a look around the empty place and his eyes settle on the large windows and the water beyond. Right. All of those samples have become useless as well and he isn't even sure if it will be worth his while reacquiring them. He might have to spent more time gathering mint plants, extract their essence and combine them with other substances to increase their potency. He also has to decide how to deal with Cal Kestis especially. He just may have to kill him. But will doing so help him getting out of here?

"Fuck it!" The man exclaims and slams his fist hard on and through the bar in front of him, sending bits and pieces as well as his own half empty glass flying.

"You've been in there! It's boring!" Cayde says in his defense. He swirls around his drink, finally allowing himself to settle on the stool he keeps there on the other side.

"It's not impossible, anyway, at least I don't think so. There's only so many tricks they can pull. I think the last time they were trying to lure us in by having us see people we knew, heading into that tunnel."
deal_me_in: (I did a lot of shooting that day)

Cayde shrugs. He'd done more than use food paste as paint. He'd grabbed as many mattresses as he could from rooms to line the walls to bounce off of. So long as he managed to have fun, he figured he was spitting in their captor's proverbial eye.

"Obvious as it might be, they can still be pretty damn convincing." They'd seen them during that last storm when they were enjoying a drink. "What was it this time then, if not familiar people?"
deal_me_in: (Then I shot that guy)

The Exo scowls a bit. "Plenty relevant! I wanna know what stunt they pulled so I won't fall for it if they decide to pull a repeat."

He takes another drink, shrugging. "Pretty dull, actually. Had to work out where everyone might've disappeared to when some of the newer people here started freaking out about it. Weird being on the other end of things, I don't know that having people left outside happened all that often. And it's not like we could go check it out to be sure."
deal_me_in: (We were in a meeting about something)

The Hunter somehow effects a petulant air as he leans against the yet level part of the counter. He gives something of a reluctant nod to concede the point, giving his glass another swirl with the turn of a wrist before he tips the rest of its contents back.

"Guess that's a way to look at it. We're not the ones with our pasts being put on the spotlight for nightly showings."
deal_me_in: (That's good right?)

"Heh, is that what you were hoping to get out of it?" Cayde chuckles. "Well, I'm not sure what you were expecting aside from some kind of leverage, but in regards to the whole hero thing, that is kind of why the Agrii pulled people in. They were looking for 'he-rows' Guess they figure if they can solve their world's problems, they can solve this one."
deal_me_in: (This is my serious face)

The Hunter opens his hands in a shrug.

"People will surprise you. And even if it's not obvious, effort is still being put into things. I wouldn't discount anyone who's been brought here."

He smirks a bit. "We can choose to fix problems or make 'em."

That makes Cayde chuckle just a bit. He knows he's sure made plenty of those himself. "Well, people do what they do. Can't dictate everyone's actions, much as it might seem easier if they were all on the same page. But eventually people get there." He picks up his glass. "Sometimes."

The bottle is next, the Exo pausing as he looks to Wesker to see if he wants a refill before he puts it away. He glances at the broken bar with a nod.

"So long as it's fixed and doesn't look like crap. This place never really closes, after all," he says.

"Why should I care how people do things? It's the flavor of life. Anyway, you can't force people to do things, you just up with more problems that way. And usually a lot of angry people."

Cayde turns to jam a stopper into it before putting the bottle back on the shelf.

"As much as most would probably love to solve this thing in a day, the storms don't even happen that frequently and we don't have much of a means to try pinpointing anything until they do, in which case they like trying to mess everyone up. So you can't blame people for wanting to make their stay comfortable so long as they're here. And fixing things up is helping- hopefully- give the Agrii a headstart once they are able to come back and have a look at the place."
