Venez à Moi
Who: Lestat de Lioncourt, Open
What: Arrival
Where: Temba
When: End of month (during calibrations, so limited to those who are outside atm)
Warnings: Blood, vomiting, violence, Please reply to Opt IN/OUT" post
Even Lestat's hyper acute senses couldn't quite catch where the change had happened. One moment he was facing down the ultimate betrayal, and the next he was outside in some utterly unfamiliar and strange looking place, Loius, Claudia and Antoinette no where to be found. He couldn't smell a trace of them on the air- air that was thankfully dark, he realized- looking up at the strange stars with a snarl. His insides churned, and vomited up more blood, looking quite the bloody mess. Despite this and all the more pressing issues, his eyes landed on a strange...orb, and he staggered towards the thing with purpose. He could feel the hold it had over him, but couldn't fight the urge, hissing at the orb or whatever force was inside his mind, before surrendering to the compulsion to touch the thing. It spoke all sorts of things to him, and when he finally pulled back with wide eyes he was panting, feeling weak and vulnerable in a way he hadn't experienced in a very long time.
The poison in his veins distracted him from any further thoughts into the 'how and why' of things, doubling over to empty up more blood from his stomach, crawling along the ground and trying to scent out a source of blood- any blood- that wasn't his own.

"I am. I am of the Living Circle, and I believe all things must be in balance. Including this. What I might give willingly will spare it being taken from others. I no more judge a wolf for its hunting than I would this man. Though I suppose with higher reasoning such as he has, he should be held to a higher standard. Which is, of course, why I sent Tony for the glass."
Because she is going to do this like someone civilized. Which means the man was going to have to deal with a water glass of donated blood.
"Speaking, of, he should be back by now."
Little Bear, of course, disagrees with Lark. There is a man here who is cuddling him while he's very distressed. This is so much better. He's even being called a good boy. His whimpering diminishes a little, his tail wags freely, and yes, unless blocked very effectively, Tony was going to get some doggy kisses.

As for the glass, Lestat had indulged that way before, though he preferred the theatrics that came with it- of slowly draining the victim through the night, having them watch as their essence was sipped at like a fine wine...

"I will go check on Tony. He may have run into some... Interferences." He informs Lark. She obviously is very capable of keeping the vampire restrained, especially with how the man complains about his current situation.
He walks over the the door Tony has passed through not long ago only to have that very door bump into a blockade made of dog and man as Jon tries to open it. Looks like a certain someone that has been out of town for too long needs some rest.
"I hate to interrupt." Jon announces himself and waits.

"Liar," Tony accused, knocked also into the reality that someone else might see him so he had to get moving again, and he had a job to prove that he could do. He went crawling away, grabbing at the nearest furniture to help drag himself up before the crawling got too pathetic, bringing him luckily level with the glass that he was meant to be getting. "Lark wanted this, come on, you're wasting time," he said, holding it out to be taken with a very cool lean on the bed.

As is she. But she did other things too, but for now she was just doing her best.
"For tonight I shall do my best to assist you, but I will require a promise from you. You will not harm another to sustain yourself. I will do my best to assist you until we find some suitable means to support you without that."

His features shifted into a stiff smile. "...of course," he swore. It was anyone's guess how genuine he was in that overly sanguine response.

"Glad to see you back in one piece." He says and moves forward to accept the glass, the frown on his face not ceasing to exist. "You look horrendous. And you owe me an opology for leaving without a word. But that can wait. For now-" He points a finger at the bed Tony is using for support. "Get some rest. Your body needs to recover."
And he has a glass to hand over to Lark.

Perhaps at this point we split to two threads? Boys cuddle and lark feeds?
Meanwhile Lark's nodding at Lestat, content with his decision.
"Then once I have the glass I'll see to it that you get something to help tie you over. I will not bleed myself dry for you."
But she does go to collect her bandages again and a pair of scissors. A cut will of course have to be made.

"And are you going to leave me like this?" he asked, twisting pointedly.
Jon still has a glass to deliver I guess
He tries not to show how anxious he feels not only about the state that Tony is in when he finally gets to see the man again, but also the response he has received from him. "Please call for me if you need anything. I would rather not leave him by himself."
sorry i got lost
Once she's got the glass she turns her attention to Lestat. Time to deal with this. She pulls scissors out of her pouch.
"You'll be able to drink from the glass with your hands bound, yes?"
