WHO: Thrawn and you?
WHERE: Event planet
WHAT: Winter shenanigans
WHEN: catch-all for January
WARNINGS: None anticipated
Village
Thrawn found the dwellings interesting; the substrate alone was remarkable. It even had a scent. He was already wary of eating anything that was on display and when there seemed to be more children among the others than there were before his caution was made practical.
Beings that were endothermic, as most humans are, may have been drawn inside so they could be nearer to the fire. But Thrawn was not. His idea of snow was a hazardous element that could blot out the senses so an unaware traveler could die from exposure half a meter from his shelter because in the driving snow he had not seen it. This softly falling rain of feathery white was new to him. Though he stood amidst the falling snow there was no steam from released breath. He also wore no extra layers in concession to the colder temperature. He simply stood with his hands clasped behind his back and head tilted to watch the silent rain of white.
Nativity Barn
...well this was mysterious. There were decorative packages that were all arranged together next to a mural. But judging from what others found when opening said packages they were made for another species entirely. One with four arms. Frowning at the word 'Thranda' woven into the garment Thrawn thought that the makers of these garments had misspelled his core name. Although why said makers would put his core name on a garment at all was a somewhat disquieting thought.

Poe folded his arms close to his body to try and retain more heat. "Are you military?" he asked, apparently full of questions.
no subject
"All of them are like me." At least physically. "And yes I am a warrior." Which is not exactly what he was asked. But Thrawn noticed the shivering. He had no body heat to share but since he was not bothered by the cold he took off his mended white coat and settled it around Poe's shoulders. The boy was positively swimming in the coat but it's the best that Thrawn could do.

"Do you know my Dad, then? I can't find him, or L'ulo, or anyone from home."

Without the coat, Thrawn's arms were bare as he only had a black tank top on under it. Thrawn had clasped his hands behind his back again when he straightened.
"I...do not. I think you need not worry about it, though. I believe we will be leaving this planet before long."
no subject
"Back to Yavin 4?" he asks hopefully.
