WHO: Thrawn and you?
WHERE: Event planet
WHAT: Winter shenanigans
WHEN: catch-all for January
WARNINGS: None anticipated
Village
Thrawn found the dwellings interesting; the substrate alone was remarkable. It even had a scent. He was already wary of eating anything that was on display and when there seemed to be more children among the others than there were before his caution was made practical.
Beings that were endothermic, as most humans are, may have been drawn inside so they could be nearer to the fire. But Thrawn was not. His idea of snow was a hazardous element that could blot out the senses so an unaware traveler could die from exposure half a meter from his shelter because in the driving snow he had not seen it. This softly falling rain of feathery white was new to him. Though he stood amidst the falling snow there was no steam from released breath. He also wore no extra layers in concession to the colder temperature. He simply stood with his hands clasped behind his back and head tilted to watch the silent rain of white.
Nativity Barn
...well this was mysterious. There were decorative packages that were all arranged together next to a mural. But judging from what others found when opening said packages they were made for another species entirely. One with four arms. Frowning at the word 'Thranda' woven into the garment Thrawn thought that the makers of these garments had misspelled his core name. Although why said makers would put his core name on a garment at all was a somewhat disquieting thought.

As this is the first time he had seen snow like this it was also his first snowball fight. It's probably obvious he did not have much opportunity to learn about 'play' while growing up.

"Take a handful of snow and form it into a snowball and then throw it back...." Eli shouted back. "It's called a snowball fight...."
no subject
Crouching, Thrawn watches Eli closely but also forms an approximate ball. When he does throw it's probably with a little too much force (look he's never done this before) though the accuracy is impeccable.

"That was a good one, Thrawn," he replied as he began to brush the snow off himself. He was pretty pleased that Thrawn reacted well.

"As a form of combat, this is woefully lacking. Is it meant to be a test of dexterity or agility?"
Someone doesn't get the idea of playing games for fun.
no subject
"I suppose it can be a test of sorts or a strategic game...but really it's meant to be a simple game that people play for fun. It's usually children, but adults are known to participate too."

Thrawn asked as he dusted some snow off of Eli's chest where his snowball had splattered.

He took the moment of Thrawn's closeness to reach up and give him a quick kiss on the cheek. He blushed from his bold movement, not using to showing such display outside closed doors.

"I admit that I was..caught offguard."
no subject
"It certainly doesn't happen often." Eli teased. "Granted, I wouldn't mind going somewhere warm and trying to find warmer clothing to. This uniform isn't cutting it."
no subject
"Unfortunately the heat your body makes is causing the snow on your uniform to melt. Perhaps finding dry clothing is the best course of action."
no subject
"That's if we can even find something to replace these clothes with..." Eli pointed out.
