First Breath

This is not good. Billy realizes that as soon as he finds himself on the ship, but like before, there's no escaping, no getting back to Tommy. Unlike last time, the ship actually moves, and Billy starts in surprise.

Baby sitter for hire

There's so many kids. It's pure luck at first that Billy isn't one of them, but he does figure out the source eventually, and makes a point to steer clear. Some one needs to stick around and be responsible, and oh God, that's him??

Tommy's naturally his primary focus, but he spends his time trying to keep an eye out for the others, magicking up blankets and earmuffs, and mitts, and trying to insist they actually keep them on. There's a few scraped knees and that sort of thing to take care of from time to time, and Billy's actually pretty good at this, when he needs to be. He even conjures up some books for them, and hosts a couple story times to try and keep them out of trouble.

Worn out

Of course all this magic is seriously draining, on top of running/flying around after the kids, and Billy's utterly exhausted. A few days in he nearly passes out after a simple bit of magic, and has to resolve to take it easy for a while, though he tries not to let any know, especially the kids.

Steve, sadly, has a sweet tooth. He was one of the first ones to swallow down the new chocolates, confident his metabolism would save him from any ill effects. Apparently not even the serum stops foolhardy boys from turning into children.

Currently about the age of seven, Steve sees the magic that Billy is performing for others and stares in awe. He knows Billy as a friend but his child-brain seems to forget a lot of the details about him. Still, Steve knows he's strong and that makes him feel powerful, even at 3' and change. Somethings always remain the same. He charges over, dressed in what looks like a child's set of reindeer pyjamas. It's soggy and filthy because Steve instigated a snowball fight and has no sense of self-preservation.

"Billy!" He bounces a little on his heels. "Can you make candy? Please?"

Billy's torn between worrying over the state of his dress, and freaking out a little over the fact that this is clearly a tiny Steve, and Captain America can't not be an adult, that is just weird.

"Capt- Uh...Steve-," he corrects, smiling and nodding in surprise, "Yeah, sure, buddy. What kind do you like? You want some dry clothes while I'm at it? Maybe something a little warmer?"

Steve looks down at his clothes and frowns a little before shrugging. "Sure. Can ya make it Oswald the Lucky Rabbit? I liked Oswald 'for everyone started liking Mickey Mouse."

He bounced a little again and thought about candy. "Just chocolate, please." He was raised with manners. "And thank you, Billy, sir."

Oswald. Right. Billy knows about the character, though he's having trouble picturing him, not overly familiar with him, and he nods a bit uncertainly. "Y-yeah, I can do that," he agrees, and what he magics up is close, though may not pass the scrutiny of a child. He enchants it to be warm, and from the looks of his last clothes- waterproof.

The chocolate is easier, and Billy flushes, handing it over, "Just Billy is fine."

Steve wrinkles his nose at the outfit but his mama raised him right, so he puts a smile on. "Thank you Mr. Billy," he says dutifully. And then again when the chocolate is dropped into his hands. Steve beams and starts swallowing it down in greedy mouthfuls. It gets all over his face.

"I wish I could make chocolate," he says between bites. " That's the best."
