WHO: Ash, Pikachu and You
WHERE: The Hotel and right outside the hotel
WHAT: Ash doesn't like sitting still. Or his apparition
WHEN: During the Event
WARNINGS: possible mentions of torture, mind control and suicide.
1. Chosen One
It's not the first blizzard Ash has faced and with how he travels like he does he highly doubts it'll be the last. However, that doesn't mean he likes being trapped in one place. He's lucky he and Pikachu were able to make it to the hotel but now that means they can't leave until the storm's over.
He's okay at first-he finds an empty room and he's tired enough that he and Pikachu are able to sleep for awhile-hoping that when they wake up that the blizzard will have stopped. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case.
"Man.. how long is this gonna go on?" He asks.
"Piika..." Pikachu watches the window with him until they're both distracted by the sudden growl of their stomach and Ash groans.
"Maybe we should see if there's food anywhere." He rolls off what's going to have to pass for a bed, Pikachu leaping up to his shoulder as the two move out of the room. The two make their way down the hall but freeze at the sight of familiar wild red hair.
Pikachu leaps down and stands protectively between the man and Ash. "Pikaa...." Pikacchu growls. "Pika?" He suddenly aware he doesn't have electricity to defend Ash with.
"Lysandare." Ash says, anger leaking into his voice. "What are you doing here?" He demands. Lysandare steps closer and Ash takes a step back.
"I'm here to remind you of your part in my death." The man states, his voice eerily smooth as he moves closer still. Ash takes another step back.
"My part?" He stares blankly.
"Pikapi!" He can vaguely hear Pikachu's voice and then the sounds of Pikachu trying and failing to summon a thunderbolt. He should be more concerned about that but his brain isn't able to concentrate on anything else.
"Yes, Ash Ketchum, it's because you refused to submit to my machine and help me recreate the world." Lysandre steps even closer.
"Pikapi! Pikachu!" Pikachu is calling out to him but he can't think about that as Lysandre's words register.
"You wanted to destroy the world and everyone in it, there's no way I was ever gonna agree to that!" Ash says heatedly, gesturing wildly with his arm to emphasize his point and backing right into a wall.
"That doesn't change the fact your actions decided my fate. If Greninja had just been a little faster-if you'd just realized what was happening.. you could have prevented it all.." Lysandre was far too close now. "Chosen One." He moved to grab Ash and he let out started cry, throwing his hand up to block and closing his eyes, bracing for whatever Lysandre was going to do.
Only..
"Pikapi!" Pikachu's voice was beside him, sounding desperate. Ash chanced opening his eyes and looked around. Where... did Lysandre go? He takes in a deep breath and then lets himself slide down the wall.
2. Making an escape - After the blizzard
Ash has been cooped up in the hotel long enough. The snow's stopped and he can't wait to get outside even if he's not exactly dressed for the cold. It takes some doing but he's able to pry the door open and lets himself out in to the cold air.
"This would be so much easier if we had Talonflame here..." He comments to Pikachu as he has to step very carefully in order to avoid falling over. He's not really got a clear destination in mind, he just needed to get out of the hotel.
"I wonder if there are anymore people trapped in their homes. We should help them out." He tells Pikachu who is clinging to his shoulder. His companion lets out a noise of agreement.

of course not!
Pikachu looks up when he see an adult approaching-that same one that gave them food. "Chupi!" He greets. "Pikachu pi, pika Pikapi pikachu" He points worriedly at Ash.
Finally, Ash forces whatever thoughts are plaguing him out of his head with a shake of his head.
"Sorry, didn't mean to worry you, Pikachu." He voices with more cheer than he should probably be feeling at the moment. He glances up the man that came to check on him and offers a small smile.
"O'course! I was just a little startled, that's all." He gets back up on his feet. "So, how are you today, Radley?"
Re: of course not!
He's relieved when Ash speaks, but he imagines these words are an understatement. "I'm okay too." Mostly. He's had more visits from not-Kalin, which have been unraveling him inside. But he doesn't want to speak of that.
"That sounded like a really upsetting encounter," he says kindly. "I get it if you don't wanna talk, but if you do, I'm a good listener."

If Ash's grip on the Pokémon seems a little tight, Pikachu sure isn't saying anything. It was an upsetting encounter but Ash doesn't like showing weakness and usually the needs of the many outweigh his need to catch a breath when something potentially world ending happens. A battle would shake him out of this mood-it's too bad he can't have one at the moment.
"It happened awhile ago." He finally offers. "Everything turned out okay-" Minus that Lysandre lost his life to his insane idea of world peace. "The only thing I can do now is keep going, right Pikachu?" He glances down at him.
"Pika..." Pikachu's not nearly as enthusiastic. "Pikapi, pikachu?"
"I'm fine buddy. Nothin' ta worry about." He assures with a force smile.

"No sense in worryin' about it now." Ash states like it's nothing. "Once the Storm stops, Pikachu and I will go out for a run and I'll forget all about it."
"Pikapi..." Pikachu looks at him in disbelief.

"Well, the offer always stands," he says. "If you find it's not so easy to forget, I'm here to listen."
He knows pushing won't help. The person has to be ready to talk.

"I appreciate the offer, but really I'm okay." He offers a grin. Pikachu still doesn't look convinced but he doesn't say anything this time.

He wonders how the kid Signers deal with being involved in world-ending disasters. If the stories about the Signers are true. He has a hard time wrapping his mind around children being called to save the world.

He doesn't have long to dwell on it though as his stomach lets out an angry growl.
"Pika..." Pikachu sighs, right after his own stomach growls. Ash lets out a sheepish laugh.
"I really hate to bother you, Radley but do ya have any more food you'd been willing ta share?" He chances asking.

"Sure. Come on over."
He heads for his room.
