[ action | closed to Lance ] Valentine's Date - Forward dated to the 14th
WHO: Keith & Lance
WHERE: Diner, hot spring cave
WHAT: Valentine's Date for the newly weds
WHEN: Valentine's Day, Feb 14th
WARNINGS: Just overwhelmingly sweet fluff... sorry. LMAO
[Sure... resources were kind of low, but they at least still had some nice clothes from various missions in the past to wear for the night. And the diner was a decent place for dinner, even if it put their mushy romantic moments in Tommy's sights and made them potentially ripe for teasing. But there was also the hot spring pools... and, despite the stupid blizzard before the date, they had a teleporting wolf that Keith probably would have brought along anyway for part of the date.
And gifts? Well, with Keith, it was more about the time spent together, so finding a present was hard. He wasn't good at physical gifts. But, he did manage to get a gift for his husband that he felt would work. He always spent a lot of time trying to figure out material gifts, but he'd managed to decide this one was a good one.
So, wrapped gift in hand, he went to go catch Lance once they were ready to go, but before they left.]
Hey. [He held it behind his back, like that was going to make it more surprising or something.]

Hey. [He held it behind his back, like that was going to make it more surprising or something.]

Yeah... yeah, I do.
[Aaaaaaand he might be blushing just a bit.]
no subject
I could look at you all day.
no subject
[Keith rubbed the back of his neck.]
Besides, there are other things to do, you know.
[You were embarrassing him, Lance.]
no subject
[He pauses.]
Not that I can't think of a few better things to do that involve you still, but, y'know!
no subject
[Keith just smirked now, poking his food and taking a bite.]
That said, wait until you see what I have planned for 'dessert'.
no subject
Oh my god. I love you.
no subject
I certainly hope so. You married me.
no subject
[He laughs as well, beaming.]
I love your laugh, y'know that?
no subject
Thanks... I- I think...? [He was also terrible at taking compliments.]
no subject
It's wonderful. Makes me want to make you laugh again even more.
no subject
I wouldn't mind that.
[He liked laughing. He liked having reasons to laugh.]
no subject
[He smiles.]
no subject
[And Keith definitely chuckled again at that.]
I mean, geeze.
no subject
[Another hand squeeze, and that smile softens. Despite their situation, he knows deep down that they're destined for each other. Forever will happen.]
no subject
Though, he knew, deep down, that they'd have to at some point. There were still things they needed to do, to finish, to clean up after everything that they'd gone through with the war. But it was easier to just avoid that for now.]
Me, too... [His own smile softened, too.]
no subject
I love you. I mean it. I've never been certain of anything more.

no subject
[He snorts, picking up his fork again.]
Let's finish up, and then...? Where are we going next?

no subject
Don't choke, please?
no subject
[He winks before digging into his food again. At this point, it doesn't take long for him to finish the dish.]
no subject
Still, they did finish up their dinner, and it was good, and Keith started to clean up. After all, he'd kind of borrowed Tommy's diner for this, and there were other people around in other areas using it as well because of the weather and having sheltered there. So, it was only fair to clean up what he had used and where he had worked.
But, the dinner wasn't the only thing he'd planned out. There was a reason he had a bag with him. He stood next to Kosmo and put his hand out to Lance.]
Ready?
no subject
When he sees that hand outstretched, he goes to take it, standing up.]
Always, samurai.

shall we fade this to black and let them have some privacy? LMAO
