This...isn't urgent or anything, and doesn't really relate to anything at all, but it seems the fastest way to find an answer for this sort of thing.

Does anyone know how to make a cake? I've only heard things about it, and the only one I've had here are the hearth cakes Lerith made for the Great Full feast. Peter told me it involves eggs and sugar...and cake mix? But I don't suppose we have cake mix here.

[Omega gasps. It's amazing how something so wet can change into something soft and bready!]

Yeah, it's pretty amazing, isn't it?

[She's so tempted to poke at it but she doesn't want to ruin it.]

We need to let it cool. Would you like something to eat while we wait?

Mixing all those things together did make me a little hungry...

I thought it might! Is there anything in particular you'd like?

I can't really think of anything specifically.

I can make grilled cheese?

[He takes out some bread and cheese.]

[She perks.]

Is it like what Tommy made?

It should be!

[He lets her have a closer look.]

Hm. It looks different. He put the cheese on top of a roll and set it by the fire until the cheese got all bubbly on top.

I can use a roll!

[He brings some rolls over for inspection.]

[She smiles a bit at the rolls, peering at the bread from earlier.]

I was just saying it was different. Would grilled cheese taste any different?

I think it'd be pretty similar. I could do it open-faced; that's called cheese toast. That might be more like what Tommy did.

I've never had any of those before, so I'm not sure what they'd be called. I just know that what was available at the tent was delicious.

I'll try it that way.

[Radley melts the cheese on the roll.]

[Either way suits her just fine, really. She sits and waits, thinking of how good the cake will be once everything's finished.]
