Goin' to the Chapel
WHO: Keith, Lance, OPEN TO EVERYONE, MINGLE STYLE
WHERE: Ivory Chapel (Sanctum of the Twelve in East Shroud) on Eorzea, followed by a reception at Carline Canopy in Gridania
WHAT: IT'S A WEDDING
WHEN: A week after Lance sent the invites
WARNINGS: Hopefully none! Ahem. Please mark your threads. Also, while everyone got an invite, anyone causing problems will meet the pointy end of one of the swords Keith bought...
The Chapel
Upon reaching the Sanctum, it's hard to miss the Ivory Chapel. A massive greyish brown cathedral with huge amber glass windows was pretty easy to spot, especially with its several spires. The large double doors opened on arrival and the guests were shown to a waiting room if they arrived before the ceremony began.
Inside, the chapel more than lives up to its name the Ivory Chapel, as it's completely white. The only color comes from stained glass windows along the sides of the building, and the decorations that were, of course, in red and blue. (Our grooms are color-coded bishounen heroes, after all.) Several moments before the ceremony, the lights dim, and the entire venue takes on a blue glow. Flying cat-like Moogles, with the little balls atop their heads glowing bright, come to quickly and somewhat gruffly usher the guests into the main chapel for the ceremony.
The Ceremony
Shiro was officiating with special permission. Lance had been able to come up with a story about why he was able in regards to him being a captain of a military group somewhere on this world, and that he was Keith's brother and this whole long thing, and the people at the Sanctum bought it enough to allow it. Hopefully, they wouldn't be too upset when Shiro started reciting the nondenominational ceremony he knew from the Garrison's handbook.
Keith (without hat or gloves) came out first, and then took his place at one side of the altar. Then came Lance (also without gloves) to take his spot on the opposite side. During the ceremony, they exchanged vows they had written themselves, and then exchanged rings. The stones, also color-coordinated, of course, were the opposite of the ones on their engagement rings in a symbolic gesture that one would always be with the other.
They finished with a kiss, Lance surprising Keith by dipping him, and then led the procession out to the front. It was just the two of them for the receiving line, and then they came out of the chapel last to the happy crowd. A large Chocobo was saddled for two, and it carried them off to Gridania, and the crowd was encouraged to follow. They'll need to take the ferry from East Shroud to Black Shroud.
The Reception
Once in Black Shroud, they were led into Gridania, reaching a large building with a green and yellow floral stained glass roof. Inside, the restaurant was on the top level, just underneath the glowing glass canopy, giving it a sense of being in the tree tops with it's dark wood décor. Local cuisine of fresh vegetables and fruit along with game from the nearby forest was served for dinner. It was hearty and filling, if a bit bland for those who preferred lots of flavor. There was alcohol for those of age, and juices for those not. And, of course, a cake with a fire and ice theme.
And there was dancing! Lots of it! Keith wasn't big on dancing, but Lance was. And Keith was just happy Lance was happy. He did do a few dances with him, including their first dance as a married couple. But, for the most part, he let Lance have the spotlight.
As the evening drew to a close, Lance and Keith were sure to be around to say goodbye as people left and make sure everyone got a wedding favor.
Afterwards
The happy couple were off to their hotel room at the inn in the same building, and the Carline Canopy's tavern is cleaning up the remains of the party, but that doesn't mean Gridania has shut down. There were plenty of other places around that might still be open for that late night bite or more drinks. Go have some fun and celebrate! Or not... Up to you!

Not needing anything special brought to the table he and Keith are sitting at, he just joins one of the lines for food, ready to pile a bunch up onto his own plate. Some of the meat smells absolutely delicious, and he's about to pick one of the pieces up when--
"Aw, c'mon man, don't you think I should get first dibs here?" he teases.

Dustin's eyes flicker to his already very full plate. One piece of meat is not worth a fight. You know, in spite of the fact that Lance's tone suggests he's not going to raise his fists over it. That possibility doesn't even cross Dustin's mind.
"...Fine," he mumbles, deflating a little as he pulls back. "I have enough already."

"I mean, everything else here looks super delicious, and you've got a lot there... And honestly, I'm starving over all the stress of getting everything right today. I mean, Keith showed up at the chapel in casual clothes!" he says with a whine as he waves the fork around. "Just to freak me out!"

Meanwhile, there's Lance. Prattling. Dustin nearly ignores him, except a question springs into his head and it won't go away, annoyingly. He looks up from selecting a slice of bread with an arced eyebrow.
"That's...a problem?" A beat. "Seems practical to me."
no subject
Slight pout.
"Typical Keith, though. It all worked out, but maaaan, typical Keith."
The pout at this point, though, turns into a little smile.

"...Is it?" he frowns. "I've only talked to him once, but he was pretty straightforward about--I mean, he seemed like...hmm."
The internal conflict Dustin is having about this is completely unrelated to the playful gushing Lance just presented him with - namely, he's starting to question if the intel Keith gave him about the storms was entirely factual. Was he misled? Should he be mad? Please, Lance, this is important.
no subject
"He is straightforward. To a fault, sometimes! But we've got our own weird relationship where we kinda like to mess with each other a lot. It's a long term thing," he explains. "Don't worry, he's serious when it comes down to it."
no subject
"Sure," Dustin huffs, not sounding at all convinced. He moves on to the next platter: A fantasy-inspired salad, except this is totally normal cuisine for Eorzea and everything just kind of ends up looking fantasy-inspired. Dustin picks through it for the pieces of vegetable that will fit in the nooks between other foods on his plate. "Like on his wedding day? Seems like the time when you should be the most serious."
