Open | Found myself in a strange new place
Who: Prompto and OTA
What: Exploration
When: First few days after arrival
Where: Hotel, Power Plant, elsewhere

[ Hotel ]
[Prompto's no stranger to new planets. He'd like to say he's something of an expert! Though usually, the places he'd ended up while on the fleet were more populated and put together.
He's also missing his gun, his camera. The dogs are nowhere to be seen. He's not sure if anyone he knows is also here. There's one face in particular he's searching for, but so far no luck.
The hotel is a good congregation point. It's large, it's obvious, it's usable. The perfect place for people looking for shelter.
So that's where he starts, picking his way up the floors, poking in rooms, and searching for anything (or anyone) useful.]
[ Power Plant ]
[The state of the overgrown path is almost enough to turn him away. Sure, he's explored plenty of mysterious and terrifying places. But he's usually armed, and not usually not alone.
The little squirrel things, though? So cute. He makes an aborted grab for his camera before remembering it's not with him.
Curiosity wins over commom sense, and he carefully makes his way to the prize at the end. A power plant. Given the state of everything else, he doesn't expect to find much.
Instead he finds the greatest thing of all. Power tools! Too bad they don't work.]

[He can also be found in or around the town square, exploring and getting a feel for the new setting. You might even catch him framing something up with his fingers, imagining the photo that could have been.]

[Did he hit a bruise or something? He's momentarily worried, but Prompto's footsteps didn't seem to indicate a limp, so he's assuming that's not the case.]
Don't remember who Keith is. I can't vouch for Ignis, either, since I haven't run into him, and you're the first person the dogs have gone after so far.

[He pulls out a short laugh. He's a little banged up, but nothing that won't heal in a day or two. It was like he flashed back to his world just long enough to reset, and then he was off to somewhere else.]
There's a lot of places a person can be around here, and I don't know how many of us are here. No communicators either. I wonder if going to the roof and shouting will work.

I don't see anything wrong with that plan.
[Aside from maybe attracting anything they didn't want to attract, whether hostile or just unwelcome. But that's not something they couldn't deal with when it came to it.]
What is this building, anyway? It's overgrown with something and has stairs, but that's all I can tell.

Near as I can figure, some kind of hotel? There's rooms with bed frames and attached bathrooms. Not great, but ... Well, maybe manageable. Haven't found anything better yet.
