and nothing here. I mean, where I'm from I could maybe a driver's license but that wouldn't do me much good here. I mean I should be excited about my birthday anyway, right?

That makes sense. Tech won't even let me pilot the Marauder until I can recite all the controls from memory, so I guess it's kind of the same thing?

No. I've never heard the term before. But then you could say that where I'm from wasn't exactly...normal.

It really depends on the kind of cake, but it's type of desert and it's really good. If I get a cake for my birthday, I'll be sure to let you try it.

That's not true. Anyway, you wouldn't have mentioned it if you didn't think it was at least a little important. Things happen here, but that doesn't mean we can't try to do things that'll make us happy.

I guess. It just feels weird to want a party with everything that's happened. And I don't know how to bake a cake and it'd be weird to ask someone, I think.

Maybe something like that is just what people might need because of what's happened, don't you think?

Someone must know how to make a cake. Maybe Lark does! I'm sure it couldn't hurt to ask around, anyway. You don't even have to ask them to bake it for you, just ask if someone can show us how.

I know how to bake a cake-sorta. I mean, with cake mix. I can live without a birthday party.

A regular party might be kind fun, maybe. But wanting a birthday party feels kinda self-centered.
