Good afternoon to all. My name is Delta, and as no one else has stepped up to do so, I will volunteer to be your network administrator. If you have any questions or difficulty regarding your device or how to post with it, please feel free to contact me.
It seems several of you have been in a situation like this before. In my case, I was taken to a city called Proles where we were expected to help the residents hold off biologically modified "zombies". We were fitted with spinal ports said to help us resist the infection, but often these ports would "glitch", causing us to hallucinate, act strangely, modify our memories, experience physical changes, or fall into a deep sleep. We took them at their word, as we had little other choice. However, since coming here, my ports have not glitched. I have been in full control of myself for the first time in a very long while.
Until I visited the caves.
There is a strong electromagnetic interference there that immediately caused a minor glitch in my ports. If anyone else has biomodifications or metallic implants, I strongly recommend caution around the caves. Alternately, if anyone has discovered an effective type of shielding, I would be most interested.
Thank you.

Do you have a quantification for "weird"? Was your glowing in a similar fashion to the animals we recently encountered, or unique?

Text
Hmm. Electrical interference would corroborate the interference I experienced. Did it feel amplified, or as though the 'frequency' had changed? Apologies if it is an insufficient metaphor; we lack magic in my timeline.
Text
I'm not the most versed in proper magic technique myself, I kind of break most of the established rules. But...yeah? I think so. It's not a bad way of describing it. It felt stronger.
Text
As I see it, there are two primary possibilities. Either it is specific to the location itself, or it is a property of the minerals in the cave. If it is the minerals, we could process them to make the effect portable and study it better. Do you have opinions or observations that would support either theory? Or a different theory?
Text
Huh, that makes sense. I guess it would be easy enough to test if we could chip away some of the cave wall and see if it still makes us glow, or makes me sneeze, or...whatever, once we're way aways from the actual cave?
Text
If the sneezing does not cause you undue distress, yes. Carrying around an allergen might become problematic if you require concentration.
text
So long as no one is close enough to get shocked. I can't really control where the electricity goes when I'm sneezing.
text
Hmm. I believe it would be worthwhile to test, but it is ultimately your decision.
