Uh, hey all. Sorry I've been kinda confused and a little absent lately. I know there's a lot that's been going on, and probably a lot of stuff I should have been helping more with, so I'm super sorry about that. If there's anything I can do now, just hit me up, let me know.

[To be honest, there's a certain amount of withdrawal he's been doing from everything; difficult to explain even to himself. But sometimes, the crazier things get, the more he feels the need to hide away instead of throwing himself into the forefront as he used to.

Could just be a phase. Hopefully. He doesn't want to be useless.]

I did have two questions, though. First one may sound a little silly but, um, is anyone here married? And like, had a wedding and stuff? Keith and I have been trying to plan one here for ages but I keep getting stuck trying to figure out how to make it perfect! Or perfect enough, I guess. Feels every time I start to plan something, shit goes down, and then my head's back to square one.

Second off, anyone been doing any fun exploration or adventure times lately and wouldn't mind me tagging along? I think I could use some getting out and being productive again. Don't want to get too lazy and rusty and stuff.

I am not married, but I have seen a wedding once. It was a wedding in three different cultural traditions. The oaths and the ring and the breaking of the glass.

But I remember the Emperor and Prince-Consort were very happy, even if it wasn't perfect. I believe it is the unity that matters more than the perfect. Provided you aren't becoming a high noble and political figure in a massive space empire.

I'm pretty sure glass breaking is involved in one of the types of weddings back on Earth! Not my religion, but it's definitely an interesting tradition. Oaths and rings are pretty common overall, though.

And yeah... I mean, I know it's not gonna be perfect. Perfect would be all my friends and family being there, but it's alright. And thankfully, neither of us are nobles or political figures! Just...really well known soldiers back home, but here, we're just kind of two regular guys.

They already had rings they wore. But the Skrull ceremonies involves creation of a ring of the elder to embrace the stars.

If you are two regular guys, do you need more than the words being said?

Oh, that does sound super beautiful and super romantic.

I mean, no. We don't need much. I just...I dunno, wanna make it as special as I can anyway.

The Skrull are a very religious people, which I did not know. Kree are not. We are raised to be 'practical'. And the Prince-Consort's family has another religion. There were many customs observed.

Perhaps make it under the stars?

I see. I'm not really religious and neither is Keith, as far as I know, so it'd be a pretty secular wedding I think.

Under the stars... Y'know what, considering how much space means to us and that we did form our bonds among the stars, a nighttime wedding sounds really good. 'course, it'd mean the reception being a party throughout the night until dawn, but I bet we can handle that!

You would likely wish to speak to the man at the diner, Thomas, about a reception. But yes, under the stars is good. Finding a nice open place might be easier in the spring and summer. Perhaps near the fountain, so the diner and hotel are close by for fun? And the Whale Comb Sent Her is large enough to maybe have dancing.

I'm pretty sure he'd be happy to help with that. And with the weather getting better...yeah, I think this could actually work! Seriously, thanks for the suggestions. Every time I try to think about it and put it together I kind of freeze up with anxiety.

Thanks, Lauri-Ell. You're already being a huge help. And you're absolutely right on that. Even in a place like this, even stranded from home for years and years...this makes me happy.

It's not like that! I mean, sure, I'm asking for ideas, but it doesn't mean I'm crowd-sourcing it all!

Uh-huh. [Keith smirked a little, clearly teasing, but then got a little more serious.]

Okay, so... how about this? What did you like best about your brother's wedding? We can take some of those ideas and go from there?

I, uh. I mean... Part of it was having everyone there, but that's not gonna be a thing here. It's just me, you, Shiro, and the people here we've met. And that's okay, I've accepted that.

[He gives a little shrug. It still hurts a lot, but... Maybe one day, whenever they go back home and fall in love all over again and get married there, everyone will be there. He knows it's going to happen.]

Um. The food was good, and the music... The dancing. It's kinda hard to figure out how to apply some of these things, 'cause our options are pretty limited.

[tempredmental]

Well, I'm sure we could figure out ways to make the food happen, even without Hunk. I don't know about music, though.

[Keith kind of understood about the whole 'having everyone there' thing. Though, having a big wedding was something he'd never seen for himself. It wasn't like he had a huge family or anything to invite. Most of the people in his life were mutuals with Lance, anyway.]

So, um... maybe we could ask around if anyone knows how to play music and try to get a band together?

That could be cool! I mean, I don't know how common instruments are around here even if people can play, but it's definitely worth a try.

[He smiles.]

I wanna make this as amazing as possible, even if it's not perfect.

I mean... if we find the right materials, we might be able to make something. [Keith shrugged a bit.] Or... maybe ask at the box where the Agrii dump stuff for us?

[He took Lance's hands in his own.]

It'll be amazing, and it will be perfect... because it's us.

We could ask, yeah! Sounds like a plan.

[When he takes his hands, though, and speaks further... Lance beams at him, leaning in to kiss him softly.]

I'm the luckiest man in the multiverse to be able to stand at your side for the rest of our lives.

[Keith closed his eyes, leaning into the kiss to return it.]

I don't know... I'd say we're both pretty lucky. [He smirked.]

Can't help with the first part since never had that part, but I have been doing some exploring if you wanted to come with. Also I can think of a number of productive things.

I'd love to do that! It's been ages since we've gone on a proper mission. Or just an adventure now, I guess.

That is very true. We haven't. Must have been too much going for a while. Strange how we get out of that sort of thing.

Right? It really has been...man. Sometimes, it's hard to keep track of time. I barely realize it passing until it's time for me or Keith's birthday or anniversary or something like that... Years are more confusing than months at this point.

[He nodded] Well, if we haven't lost complete track of time trying to get back to Earth without the castle, I'd be surprised.

Yeah... That definitely threw me off too. Sometimes I don't even know how old I am, really, with all of the shenanigans I've been through lately.

Yeah... I kind of wonder that too. It's really hard to tell.
