It had started out with a text, the ensuing planning for an otherwise half-baked plan quickly snowballing to include spectator-judges, but at that point Cayde hadn't cared too much because it was them gunning it full-speed in a direction well away from the heavy events they'd started the month off with, however months in Agrii-land went, anyway.

And then the network went sideways and Tony's attempts to garner judges in his favor made it anyone's guess as to who all actually ended up coming to the thing. The signs that Cayde had put up around the more frequented areas of the city probably didn't help too much either, especially since he reused a lot of them, which mainly proclaimed free pizza and spicy ramen specials.

It was hard to tell where exactly this had gone wrong, because the kid looked kind pale and sweaty the whole way through, and in Tony's experience the nerves weren't supposed to get so dramatically worse after surviving the experience. "That's alright, being a rockstar doesn't agree with everybody," he tried, watching closely for the first sign that Peter might hurl on his shoes, and raising a cautioning hand so they both knew exactly where it was before Tony checked it against Peter's forehead. "Goes right through some people." Maybe karaoke was another thing that spiders were allergic to.
