I've been learning my way around and I think I've got enough of a handle of Temba's layout to offer my services for transportation. I'm sure people have probably seen me about the city, and I'm just sorry I haven't thought to make mention earlier.

I can't transport very much- I only have a motorcycle, but I can help deliver things or give people a ride if needed. Just let me know.

That depends on how you prefer to be handled. I'm more than happy to accommodate.

I'm sure you would be. Are you anticipating there will be a need to haul something that would require a trailer?

I anticipate a lot of things.

If anyone gets back to restoring buildings again, it would be a huge help. You know, like a prison maybe. That's kind of Reeve's area. You could swing by his office and see if that's in the cards.

I have a motorcycle, not a truck. If we're talking building materials, maybe it would be better to start with making a vehicle for that kind of load.

Did you have something specific in mind when you offered your services? Or someone?

Not really. Back home I worked as a courier. I know there's probably not much need for that here. But if someone needed something that I can manage to carry on my bike, or for some reason or another couldn't bring something to someone themselves, I could handle it.

And of course if someone just wanted a ride across town or to the train station or something.

I can see how that would be useful. I'll keep it in mind.

I hate doing it myself, so I'm glad someone will.

Do people often ask for you to give them a lift?

Not at all. That one would be fun. Never thought to offer.

Making deliveries is the awful one. The whole interfacing part.

You should try it then. You seemed to make good speed with that suit of yours.

Interactions for deliveries isn't so bad. I suppose here it's a bit different because there are so few people, so you'd be more inclined to see them around than in a big, busy city taking on an odd job.

I hadn't thought about the luxury of anonymity. I always thought it was better to make sure everyone knows who you are. Unfortunately, then everyone knows who you are.

Is that why you don't show your face?

I think I prefer my feet close to the ground.

I guess I can't really claim anonymity back home either. Most people know who I am, or have heard rumors by now. I used to be more self-conscious about that.

I have my reasons. Are you that curious?

I mean, I have a secret identity back home, too, but that hasn't been particularly effective here. I guess I was at something of a disadvantage, with people here already knowing the secret. Tommy just tells everybody anything, don't trust him.

Wait, is it the mask that people know, or you? You can tell me the rumours, I won't Tommy it.

Is it the superhero thing?

Tommy, I think I met him on the ship. Does he always have an attitude? He wasn't too pleased about seeing my motorcycle aboard and even threatened to throw it off the ship if it hit his plants.

Hm, it's a bit of both, I think. People see me riding through the streets, day and night. They have wild imaginations.

Wouldn't it be strange to relate rumors about myself?

He likes to keep life challenging. In this case, though, I might have to agree. Why did you have your bike on the ship?

Not strange at all. Most of the things I know about myself I read in a magazine.

I was tired of the glitter and washed off the wheels. And I left my motorcycle in the cargo hold while I made use of the showers.

Hm. I guess when you put it that way. I'm known as the Black Rider around Ikebukurou. Sometimes I wonder if it was better keeping more to myself, but I guess I made more of an impression when I rode down the side of a building one night.]

Very cool, follow up question, why did you have your bike on the side of a building?

I was up on the roof and was in a bit of a... mood.

I don't know you well enough to infer if that would be a good mood or a bad one. Just so we're both prepared, I'm willing to find out.

Well, I don't think there should be a repeat, anyway. I've had a lot to think about since then. Not that any of that matters in the here and now.

I hope you're not telling me you're too mature to drive down the side of a building. I can't handle that kind of disappointment.
