[He sounds amused more than anything. There weren't many people he'd been looking at messaging directly in the first place, but it was good to know he could get this done, now.]

Now that we've got crap behind us, I've got a favor to ask for a friend. Any mages around? I need someone who can remove a magic lock.

Thanks. [He means it, honest. It's kind of hard to tell. Even when he's not annoyed by things, the tone is mildly present while he tries to help.]

Anyone who has supernatural abilities? Even if there is someone who can do it, I don't know if they'd be able to unlock the lock.

You taking a look at it? I know he wants it gone, yeah, and it's going to take magic to do it. I've got a guy who's going to look at it, and I'll give you a call if it doesn't work.

A magic lock, huh? I don't think I'd be much help there, but I'd be curious to hear a bit more about something like that.

It's a slave collar.

Lerith's a friend and he's not a slave anymore.

Oh. [ Well, that's awkward. ] What does the collar do? We had collars and bracelets in my world that were designed to suppress powers. I've had them on me a few times.

Ouch. Not all slaves have 'em, but this one keeps him quiet. No one's around to pull his chain, so he doesn't have that problem.

[Bull had let Reeve choose the place, mostly because he didn't know anything about magic aside from countering it and Reeve was the authority here, so he made his way as soon as the conversation was finished. Lerith would probably be nervous and he didn't want the guy to wait too long alone.
