Uh, guys? Anyone seen Tony? I am getting some bad vibes about this. His place is a wreck and it wasn't my fault, he didn't even write, network was down during the storm so who knows what anyone was doing-

Also? I think someone's funnin' with us because there is like, nothing on the network referring to or from him. I am pretty sure if he was all a figment of a mass hallucination we must have all been on something pretty wild but I don't think there's anything out there that can produce a guy like Tony Stark so..!

[ How could Tony Stark be missing? He's way too extra to stay missing. He'd like blast Led Zeppelin or something and be immediately found. At least, the Tony he knows. Dos this one like Led Zeppelin? He'll have to ask. ]

Scoped out all the usuals. Nothing. Even if he were just hanging out, we would've been able to just yell at him on the comms but, well take a look for yourself. His name's not listed.

[He scowls, but not at Peter. Even if Tony up and got bamf'd home, it wouldn't have taken all traces with him. At Peter's offer, the Exo nods.]

[ Peter does because that sounds odd. He returns moments later. ]

That doesn't.. make any sense... [ he muttering as his mind races through reasons this might be. If someone goes missing or dies it's not like they get completely wiped from the planet. There's things left behind, a fact Peter Parker is all too familiar with. ]

[ He frowns because the fact that Tony is missing from even the network paints a worrisome picture. ]

But why? Why would someone-

[ He pauses as his brain starts to piece together information. Beck. The name rings in his head. Tony had told him just recently that he should be careful around Beck. He didn't say why but it was easy enough to form a conclusion. Not only that but he had told Peter over the network which has now been scrubbed of any trace of Tony Stark. ]

[ He bites his lip as anger starts to build and he feels a little sick because where was he while all of this was happening? When Tony Stark could have actually used his help? ]

[ Peter says, voice devoid of any of his usual cheer. ]

[Everything was definitely targeted once the pieces were unearthed. It's hard to see it as otherwise. When Peter cuts himself off, Cayde arches a brow at him. He opens his mouth, hesitating in prompting the kid, but when Peter finally speaks up again, he pauses before giving him a nod.]

[ He hesitates for a moment, unsure if he wants to voice his suspicions but better to let someone else know then let it stay a mystery if things go poorly. ]

[ He's fairly certain it was Beck but he wanted to confront the man himself. Beck pretended to care about him, he let him live with him, he lied to him. He should know by now it's usually better to listen to Tony. ]

[ And if Tony is... gone (his brain refuses to supply the word dead) then he's gonna make sure Beck pays. ]

[Okay there's so much that Cayde's juggling here between Peter giving him answers over the network that might potentially be compromised anyway and that the kid even has an answer to give him. And then there's a bit of fumbling for a face to put to the name and-]

Look, I don't have time to really get into it- [ If there's a chance Beck can tell him where Tony is then there's likely a small window open to get him to talk. Peter's not gonna miss that window. ]

But I'm pretty sure it's Beck.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But if I'm right then at least someone else knows if I turn up missing too.
