It didn't feel as cold out today. Or maybe that was because he was coming straight from the hotel and down the street to the agriculture center. Or greenhouse, as Tommy had called it. It was warm inside, much like his own little hotel room. Maybe while he was here, Lerith could find some plants that would make paints for Bruno!

Once inside, the elf pushed the scarf back and wandered around looking for a free area. A place with some decent sized pots where he could grow the herbs he had acquired as a gift. Finding an empty garden box filled with dirt, this...this would be perfect! It took a few minutes to locate some decent... well, at first glance he thought they were weapons.

Lerith supposed one could use a gardening spade as a weapon...

No matter.

The elf moved back front of the box and began to work, getting lost in the work of digging. He started with two holes, both three inches in diameter and two deep, before dropping the seeds in. Covering them. And he worked like that, continuing through the packet he had been gifted. It didn't take long for his thin hands to be cover with dirt spots, and even some on his face, marring the pale skin and teal tattooing.

He smiled as he looked at what Lerith was saying. Then he looked up and nodded. "So you like looking at stars too? My friends and I did that back home, it was such a great view. And one of our best memories was spent looking up at the stars because there was a meteor shower that night."

That was the last night before the huge lifechanging events took place that they'd spent beneath the same stars. That was the night before the Mark of Mastery exam, and all that happened after. The thought pained him since they didn't get another chance to do that before they all were reunited and went looking for Sora.

Of course the device beeped and Terra nodded at Lerith. "Ya, I guess you could say that because we left it."

'not a lot of lights in haven late at night. made it easier to see them all. didn't look at them with anyone tho. i did't really trust well at home. i'm better at it here. no slavers.'

He looked at Terra and blinked a little. 'oh. i thought maybe it had that name for areason. like how haven is named it for being a haven for people after the Breach happened because a temple was destroyed. or the emerald graves because of the lush forest where dalish are buried from what i heard.'

Terra's brows furrowed. He'd heard of slaves while he was in Greece and that of course didn't sit well with him at all. That kind of thought made him mad, much like Zack being controlled by the darkness and Hades. Still, he realized he probably looked angry at what he read and tried to pass it off.

For now though he focused on more text coming in and wasn't happy about a temple being destroyed, but Terra fought to school his features a little better. "No, it's okay because that's just what it was called. I really don't think there was much to the name itself."

And then he tried to focus on something more positive. "But ya, you should look out at the stars at night, they're really pretty."

Lerith was looking at the various flora around them, thankfully not noticing Terra's angry look. Good thing he couldn't see the collar that was still tight and secured around his neck. He almost wish he could explain what happened at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, but he didn't know. Aside from the Inquisitor coming out of the Breach with that strange mark on her hand.

'oh okay. maybe make up a reason for the name!' A small smile at that. 'i will look tonight. see if i can find a good place in the city. unless you know one?'

He looked at the device as it beeped. "I do actually have a place or two I can show you if you're interested." He was thinking of the places he knew and of course the higher up the better just like back at home.

Thinking on that it made him feel better. So he nodded. "And for whatever reason, it doesn't seem like many people look up at the stars here."

Which was puzzling.

A soft huff of a laugh. 'they dont where i am from either if that makes you feel better. all of our worlds are different but theres still a lott thats the saem it seems.'

Lerith stretched a little. 'i would like to see the places. i want to see more of the city instead of hiding in the hotel all the time'

He smiled when he read the message and shook his head at Lerith. "They just don't know what they're missing out on." Of course gazing at the stars always brought Aqua and Ven to mind but that wasn't a problem.

But Terra watched the other stretch and he nodded. "It is nice to get out and look around. It seems you never know what you'll find."

'i do want to get out more often. it's takena while but i know i don't have to be scared and hiding all the tim ehere. its...difficult to explain i think.' But Terra knowing about slavers might help him put some of the pieces together on that front.

Yellow eyes looked to Terra, a small smile on his face. 'will you write to me when you want to look at the stars?'

He looked down at the device and read the text there. Terra really thought about offering to protect the elf, but that might meet with resistance. But it was just built into Terra from Master Eraqus to protect Aqua and Ven. And so he'd passed that same thought onto others he met, like when he'd rescued Zack from Hades' darkness control.

So he looked up at Lerith and kept his thoughts to himself.

However, he was delighted to see a smile on the other's face and looked back down when the device went off again. Seeing what was written there, he nodded at his companion. "I'll make sure to let you know."
