A Faaair is a Ve~ritable Smorgasborg-orgasbord-orgasbord

WHAT: Doing all the things
WHEN: Duration of Event
WARNINGS: N/A

Food
Omega's never seen so much variety of food, much less by way of color and shape. While the food goo dispensed from the ships is tasty, it's still goo, and the diner offerings are limited to what's available, although still a lot better than rations. With Lula tucked in the crook of her arm, the girl goes roaming around by the huts. She's definitely a fan of sweets, and the fact that things have that faint taste of peanut butter doesn't seem to bother her in the least.
Crafty
Making things looks like a lot of fun. Mixing "potions" reminds her of being in Cid's bar, although she's fascinated by the ability to add liquids for a customized drinks. By the look on her face there are definitely some misses in her experimentation, but she seems to rapidly be getting the hang of it. Maybe she'll mix something good for you!
At some other time one might find Omega parked at a costume table with some pieces of cloth, particularly black and red. Her Clone Trooper doll is set there in front of her to watch as she tries to figure out the best way to go about making a kama for it. Painting had been much easier compared to this!
P.E.
No one who knows her should be surprised at all to see the girl at the climbing wall. Even without a spotter, she's clambering up, and all in all her form isn't bad. She's climbed things before and it shows as she's made it up quite a ways. Her brothers do it all the time and Echo even with one hand makes it look so easy! Just...don't have a heart attack when you see her foot slip.
The treasure pit is a safer venture by far, and Omega doesn't seem to mind getting her hands in the sand. It's such a different feeling from dirt, and a prettier color! Her face lights up with genuine glee whenever she does come upon something other than sand, holding up whatever shiny piece of rock she's found as though she's actually found some long forgotten treasure.
You can see her eyeing that swing and barrel. If she catches your eye she might just drag you along to try them with her.
Attack!!
While the archery range is a little familiar in terms of presentation, the equipment itself is quite analogue compared to anything she's used to. She can see the similarities in the bow and how it's used, but it takes her a few tries to properly nock the arrow and fire it without it slipping or swinging away from the rest. Her first successful shots fall well short of the target, but by the look on her face she seems determined to get this right.
Wildcard

“So she’s a clone trooper? I thought they were all male clones.” That had been the popular story, at least. She is far from an expert on the clone wars, of course, especially given they’d happened so long before her birth.
no subject
She carefully adjusts the doll before pulling her hand back once it's staying in position. "Are you from the same galaxy, then? You know about clone troopers..."
no subject
"I am, though I'm from long after the clone wars. My name is Rey."
no subject
"Nice to meet you, Rey. I'm Omega," the girl says.
no subject
"Okay, if you want to make your trooper a kama, I'll teach you a few different ways to stitch the fabric together first, okay? I made my own doll when I was young, so I happen to be an expert in making small clothes." Rey reaches for some of her scrap fabric, enough for Omega to practice on, and for her to show her the stitches.
"We'll practice first, so you get comfortable with the stitches before we cut the kama out."
no subject
"All right. What do we do first?" she asks as she picks up the scrap Rey gives her for practice purposes.
no subject
While she's observing Omega a ball droid comes rolling into the tent, warbling about the different things he's been looking at while out on his rounds of the faireground. Rey glances up and shakes her head at him.
"I don't think they're based off anyone, BB-8. Just strange projections."
no subject
She's a fast learner, applying her needle and thread to the practice cloth and showing Rey her progress for inspection with the eagerness of student aiming to please. When BB-8 comes in, she brightens. "BeeBee-Eight! I haven't seen you in a while," she says, waving excitedly at the droid, unaware that he might not be the same iteration she'd met.
no subject
"I'm so sorry, BB-8 doesn't seem to remember anyone he's met here before. He knows me, but everyone else it's like he's meeting for the first time." Which seemed to be more and more people. It hadn't really sunk in for Rey just how long he and Poe had been here before she'd arrived.
no subject
"What happened?" she asks, concern coloring her tone. "Did something happen to his memory?" He doesn't look damaged, at least.
no subject
"It's like he went home with Poe and then came back, but his memory was wiped of his time here."
no subject
"At least he remembers things from where he came from. Sorry to confuse you, BeeBee-Eight. I'm Omega."
no subject
Rey gives Omega a soft smile, reaching out to gently pat her shoulder.
"It's alright, he's gotten it a few times already."
no subject
"I'm sure you don't need it, but I know a few things about droid maintenance," she offers, settling back into her stich-work. "And there's also the room in the hospital that Tony and I started setting up for mechanical emergencies." She glances at Rey. "Tony thought it would be a good idea since we had droids and mechanical humanoids around. So it's there in case you need the space or the tools."
no subject
"You're handy with mechanics? Me too. I used to be a scavenger on Jakku, you learn a lot about putting things together when you're taking them apart."
no subject
"A little. I'd help do maintenance for some of the medical assistant droids back when I was on Kamino," she said. "I didn't get to do too much taking things apart and putting together though."
