Food
Omega's never seen so much variety of food, much less by way of color and shape. While the food goo dispensed from the ships is tasty, it's still goo, and the diner offerings are limited to what's available, although still a lot better than rations. With Lula tucked in the crook of her arm, the girl goes roaming around by the huts. She's definitely a fan of sweets, and the fact that things have that faint taste of peanut butter doesn't seem to bother her in the least.
Crafty
Making things looks like a lot of fun. Mixing "potions" reminds her of being in Cid's bar, although she's fascinated by the ability to add liquids for a customized drinks. By the look on her face there are definitely some misses in her experimentation, but she seems to rapidly be getting the hang of it. Maybe she'll mix something good for you!
At some other time one might find Omega parked at a costume table with some pieces of cloth, particularly black and red. Her Clone Trooper doll is set there in front of her to watch as she tries to figure out the best way to go about making a kama for it. Painting had been much easier compared to this!
P.E.
No one who knows her should be surprised at all to see the girl at the climbing wall. Even without a spotter, she's clambering up, and all in all her form isn't bad. She's climbed things before and it shows as she's made it up quite a ways. Her brothers do it all the time and Echo even with one hand makes it look so easy! Just...don't have a heart attack when you see her foot slip.
The treasure pit is a safer venture by far, and Omega doesn't seem to mind getting her hands in the sand. It's such a different feeling from dirt, and a prettier color! Her face lights up with genuine glee whenever she does come upon something other than sand, holding up whatever shiny piece of rock she's found as though she's actually found some long forgotten treasure.
You can see her eyeing that swing and barrel. If she catches your eye she might just drag you along to try them with her.
Attack!!
While the archery range is a little familiar in terms of presentation, the equipment itself is quite analogue compared to anything she's used to. She can see the similarities in the bow and how it's used, but it takes her a few tries to properly nock the arrow and fire it without it slipping or swinging away from the rest. Her first successful shots fall well short of the target, but by the look on her face she seems determined to get this right.

But taking this sand away might take away from someone else's happiness.
"Maybe if this comes to an end at some point I'll ask."

The whole thing had been weird to him but then again this was a different world with different rules and it was just the way it was he supposed.
He tried to smile. "But if I asked and they said it's okay, I'd love to bring some home with me."
no subject
"I wonder when we'll be able to go back. It seems like we haven't gotten anywhere in helping the Agrii come back to their own home. And then some people just vanish."

His pet companion might even get a kick out of it and want her own, which would mean having a lot of sand, of course.
Terra sighed and nodded a little somberly at Omega's observation. "Ya, I really wish they'd just give us something a little more solid to go on as to how to help them. But maybe I can just ask the next time they pop up."
no subject
She lifted her hand, watching the sand stream between her fingers as it fell back onto the pile. "I don't think they know enough to give us any help on that. It's why they brought us, isn't it? Because they didn't know who else to turn to."
no subject
He looked at his companion and nodded. "That's probably true. But not everyone here can fight, nor should they if that's not what they're good at. So those people will have to be protected."

"But there's no point in worrying about it now and we haven't gotten any reports that anything like that is happening." This was him trying to keep her from worrying because he'd just much rather see her happy and smiling.

"I guess so," she agreed somewhat reluctantly, but she could see what he was getting at. This was all set up for them to enjoy themselves, so far as she could see. They'd have to figure out things sooner or later, but for now, maybe they could put it off just a bit.

And then he noticed a few food vendors and whatever they were selling smelled really good.
"When was the last time you ate?"
no subject
"Not for a while now," she admitted. She'd gotten distracted by the things to do.
no subject
"Or I can go get you something and bring it back?"

Waiting for her as they neared the stalls, he looked around. "What looks good to you?" Because at the moment everything looked pretty damn good to him.

So that was always the wrong answer.
But he walked over to what looked like a creamy dessert in a cup. The people there termed it a 'shake' and then there was meat on sticks next to a place that looked like huge bird legs.
"The meat on sticks look good, and that other one.." Terra's voice trailed off as he read it. "Apple dumplings wrapped in pastry served with ice cream look good too."
Fade off?
"Let's start with the meat sticks," the girl suggested. They could work their way to desserts- sweets weren't something she was about to miss.
