[With communications and transportation between the cities down for now, Keith was definitely worried, but they couldn't do much but wait.

He hated waiting.

So, he dove into everything else that he could potentially do to keep himself busy and prevent himself from worrying.

There was, of course, the issues of falling stone leaves to contend with... oops? Ouch? Both?]

{OOC: Open to ideas. Keith's going to keep himself busy by being at the hangar, at the theatre, at the store, at the security center... he's probably going to investigate the estate as well. Thankfully, he has really good reflexes so he's unlikely to be hit by a falling stone leaf... unless someone wants to distract him. I'm open to the option! [He waves, seeing him for the first time since he realized their situation, jogging over.]

[Okay, he'd let the nickname go in light of the situation. Instead, he'd just take his fiancé into a hug for a long second before kissing him.]

[Honestly, it's the least of the nicknames he's given Keith over the years. Lance kisses him back, sighing against his lips.]

I'm glad, too. I was going to lose my crap if you weren't here.

I saw Shiro. So, it looks like all three of us are on this end of the train route. [Honestly, Keith would have been pissed if either of them had been stuck in Temba with no way to get back and forth to each other.]

I don't know what's going on, but it can't be good that we're cut off like this. I wonder what's going on over there. Why would get blocked like this?

[Because, while they weren't people from home, they were still in a situation, and Keith didn't like the idea of what that might mean.]

Phew... Okay. That's good, that's good. At least there's us three.

[Not that being separated from other people in this world didn't suck, granted.]

I don't know. It's really weird, y'know? When stuff goes down, usually we all have to go through it. But to get split in half like this... That's new. And I'm getting this sinking feeling that we're on the good side of it.

Yeah. I hate not knowing.

[He took Lance's hand and then just started walking. He wasn't sure where he was going, but standing in one place when the leaves on those trees were turning to stone when they fell instead of just changing into pretty colors seemed like a band idea. Plus, he just needed to be moving right now.]

[Moving is good. Holding Keith's hand while doing so, even more so. But the feeling of unease still lingered, something that he knew wasn't going away for a while.]

Hopefully we can figure something out.

Yeah. [He took a breath.] I mean, in the meantime, there's also still a lot we don't know about this place. We could try keeping busy? Neither of us has the right augments to really work on getting communications back, I guess.

Yeah. I've still got security, so I'm as useless with the science stuff as I always have been.

[It's a little self-deprecating, but not in a hostile way, and he smiles a bit as he squeezes his hand.]

We can investigate, at least?
