{🕷🕸} network; video

[ Well, she was biding her time in hiding to go break some friends out of prison — she hadn't even picked out a color to dye her hair, or a style to cut it, to make herself not as identifiable on first glance — but sure. Planet detour it is. ]

I can't say I've ever had a detour located outside of the Milky Way before.

[ Some dry sarcasm. But also truth; she's never been on another planet, let alone galaxy or universe. ]

I'm going to keep this brief, so let's just get to it: I don't suppose anyone can assure me that governmental agreements and such made in our own worlds don't have any standing here?

[ Asking for a friend and all. (She's the friend.) The question gives away the fact that she's new here, and well, if the Sokovia Accords do have standing here, she's prepared to go way back underground. ]

If any of my friends are here too, I seem to be assigned to a ship called First Breath.

[ Natasha-speak for 'you know where to find me if you need me, and also I want to see you in person ASAP so move your asses over here please and thanks'.

And then she finally, a bit abruptly, cuts the video off.

[Yes, all should respect that Jane Foster is a badass.]

A sucker for women with power? Yes, that is reasonable. There is something wonderful about a strong woman, or one who knows her will, isn’t there?

[The Kree woman was definitely smiling a bit more warmly at that than was perhaps needed. It was not the smile of someone who was just glad for the success of her gender. No, there was more fondness.]

There are a good many great and impressive women I have met from Earth. I was particularly impressed by one Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew is clearly a very capable warrior, and a good friend to my sister. Though I have to wonder… I have seen some broadcasts involving women competing for the attentions of an unworthy example of the males of your species. Is this a common practice? For women who are clearly worthy of praise and lauding to pursue men who do not seem to have an obvious means by which to support themselves or any potential families, much less serve as able warriors for their people?
