WHO: Ikora Rey & OTA
WHERE: Amphitheater
WHAT: Ikora keeping her hand to hand skills Vanguard quality.
WHEN: Mid-morning
WARNINGS: There will be punching and physical violence in the training sense.
Other: For Ikora's combat tags I'll be rolling a D20 to see how she does. Just to keep things interesting. How many of her Light abilities she uses will depend on who she's fighting against. Also, if someone wants their character to learn some hand to hand Ikora would accept them as a student!
Ikora was pleased at the response she got from asking for training partners. She could not be merciless here like she had been in her Crucible days but control was always important for a Warlock to practice. Limiting herself to no Light - except in special cases - would be very good for her control. It was too easy to strike out with Void to steal health or gain the upper hand by setting an opponent on fire with Solar energy. No Light would be a very interesting challenge.
She arrived at the amphitheater early in the morning to set up. With Solar energy she burned a wide circle into the ground. It would fade in a few days, no permanent damage done. She had thought about this rather extensively after asking for training partner.
The most fair form of training seemed to be either the first to yield or the first forced out of the circle. Whether a person had powers or armor or none of the above there would be a balance between aggression and defense with these two win conditions.
Happy with her circle - it was perfect as always - she shed her gloves, belt, and the coat layer of her robe and draped them over a bench. It might surprise some of her training companions how muscled the Warlock actually was. Then she sent another message through the network inviting anyone interesting in training to join her in the amphitheater.
When they arrived she smiled and inclined her head towards them. "Thank you for joining me. Any questions before we begin?"
